I think NG2 wil go to PS3 at some point. But Í dont think it wil be on day one.
Maybe by that time the PS3 wil have a controller that rumbles.
As much as I want to play NGS, I really am not looking forward to playing a NG game without rumble.:(

NG2 will definitely go multiplat.
it may not be available the same day as the 360 version, but sigma is definitely indication that we'll see a time release on PS3.
you can say what you want about itagaki being faithful to xbox fans, but the fact is nobody expected the BEST VERSION of the original NG (and by that i don't mean the NES ones) to be on PS3.
itagaki's loyalty to xbox fans = timed exclusive on 360.
PS3 NG2 sigma perhaps?

Ya, know...I'd rather there be a time exclusive for the X Box 360 in that case and get the Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 for PS3 with the added features.
[QUOTE="JLuke360"] Itagaki is a game designer heading up Team Ninja, one of Tecmos development teams.".gridlok
you do realize Itagaki CREATED Team Ninja FOR Tecmo right?
But Tecmo is more than just Team Ninja.Only if Ninja Gaiden Sigma sells over a million.
But whatever happens to it, I hope it won't be on the Wii. Sheep don't deserve this game...
[QUOTE="mentzer"]Of course NG 2 will be multiplatform.
Only lemmings think it won't be.
Hell NG even branched out to the DS.
It's a MP franchise now. Sorry lemmings. The days of NG exclusive to a MS console are OVER.

Indeed. Anyone with half a brain can see that they put Sigma on the PS3 in order to establish a fanbase on the PS3 for when they release NG2 multiplat. This is also the reason that the 360 did not get Sigma, as Xbox already has the NG fanbase that have already been anticipating NG2.
Team Ninja wanted PS3 owners to get a next gen version of NG in order to insure sales for NG2 when it goes multi-plat....it is as simple as that. Anyone who thinks that NG2 will not be multiplat after the fact that Team Ninja made Sigma EXCLUSIVELY for the PS3 are blind as bats. Not to mention that Team Ninja have been singing praise after praise for the PS3. Of course it will be multiplat, only a fool would think it would not be at this point, lol.
LOL.... EXCLUSIVE???? LOL.... I've been playing this game for YEARS!!!!! on my XBOX.... all you got for your 3-4 year wait was slightly better visuals.... WOWZERS!!!!!!
Probably come out on 360 1st and then to the ps3 afterwards. Itagaki promised he would be loyal to his fans and wouldnt turn back on them by switching exclusives. i can see ng2 being made by his apprentice while itagaki works on other projects while how it was like ngs. there are so many team ninja games projects that are suppose to come out in the future such as DOA5, NG2, and DOA cronus (ayane/kasumi).istreakforfood
He went from the SNES to the PlayStation to the Xbox to the PlayStation again and the DS. And your going believe him?
face it people, its going Multi-Plat. It has every reason to. If they never intended the series to go Multi-Plat, why the heck would they introduce it to the Playstation audience? That wouldn't make any sense. Live with it Lems, Multiplat for sure.

Why isn't the MGS series multiplat? MGS2 went to the XBox so that must mean that it's going multiplat right? I'm not saying it won't happen, but just because NGS is coming out doesn't mean Ninja Gaiden 2 is guaranteed to go to the PS3.

most definately this game will go multiplat. anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional.. why else would they make sigma for ps3? and its not just a slight graphical upgrade . it looks 100x better
I love how cows think NGS is going on to be a blockbuster on the PS3. Keep in mind it's a port, and secondly have you ever played Ninja Gaiden? It's such a niche game and so god damn difficult and definately not mass market friendly.DaysAirlines
DMC games are not mass market friendly either ( they are arguably the most difficult games out there ), and surprise, they sold more than 6 mil on PS2...so...your point ? I guarantee that most DMC fans will buy Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

You have been playing a demo.
Definitely. in fact, it will be developed for PS3, X360 will get the port.

You are such a blind, dilluted fanboy it's borderline ridiculous, get proof and then we'll talk, cuz all I see coming out of your posts is complete and utter nonsense. Just because of you I hope it never sees the light of day on the PS3 so you can go cry about it, but do it alone so the rest of us don't have to hear about it.
On topic though, I probably will end up multiplat...more likely than not a timed exlusive.

If FF wasn't meant to go multiplat, why did they introduce it to the 360 audience? Same logic? Everyone doubts it will but when the tables are turned EXACTLY the same it is a definate thing. Oh yea lets not mention Itagaki will be creating NG2 and has extreme love for the 360. He had nothing to do with Sigma, his under study is porting it.
That's just sad... I prefer to put that dark memory known as FFXI ( a sad excuse of an MMO RPG toting the Final Fantasy name...) somewhere deep into the supressive part of my mind. You can't even compare these situations at ALL! Why?
1) FFXI was an MMO, not a main title like I-X, and XII.
2) I'm assuming Ninja Gaiden has a progressive story. (FF games are almost always different, except for Spin-off exceptions.)
With that said, why would they introduce the Playstation audience? To tease them or something? Sorry, but that makes no sense. And even if Itagaki doesn't make it for PS3, what stops his under study from porting it? I mean, he did a fantastic job with NGS as far as it looks now.

Can you play as Rachel on Black? Not tease them--test them. If you don't believe, think of the main reason Itagaki makes the DoAX games--they're really to test refinements in Team Ninja's game engine. That's just sad... It just makes sense that it would be, not necessarily saying it is, but it most likely will be because why would they bother releasing Sigma on the PS3 if they don't plan on bringing the second one to it?
Just look at Shenmue 2 for example. It didn't sell well on the Xbox because the first one wasn't released on it.
why does ngd look better than every single wii game released and annpounced?JPOBS
because team ninja are the best programmers in the world.

The main Team Ninja guy ( always forgot his name) always said that the 360 is his home base and whatever projects he does, he will have 360 in mind....so no. 360 will not get the port. Youtube the interview, i dont feel like looking to prove some stranger fanboy wrong....not worth my time.
I bet it will. It's not like NG has ever been an exclusive Xbox franchise. It started on NES, it was on Sony systems in past iterations... btw Sigma looks significantly better than Black, if those screenshots and the demo on PSN are any indication. I wouldn't call those a few small tweaks. D_ZnuhtzNinja Gaiden has never been on a Sony console. Sigma will be its first entry.
No, Shenmue 2 didn't sell well because the game mechanics stunk. The original Shenmue is listed as one of videogaming's big failures. It just makes sense that it would be, not necessarily saying it is, but it most likely will be because why would they bother releasing Sigma on the PS3 if they don't plan on bringing the second one to it?

Well, I have to say its a distinct possibility...although I'm certainly not saying it will at this point.
I'm of the opinion that is hinges in good part on how well Sigma sells.
If Sigma sells 500k-1million then it might come to the PS3.Kahuna_1
Of course it will sell more than 500 k copies, and the only reason for that is because there are no games on the PS3, I think that will be the 1st PS3 game worthy of playing, anyway, I do still think that NG2 should at least stay time exclusive for the 360.
yea its sad that the first game on the PS3 worth playing is an xbox rehashabusedbunny

itagaki has been clear about his dedication to xbox?
if that were the case, we wouldn't see a ninja gaiden game on PS3.
no matter what he says about NG2 exclusivity, that doesn't mean we wouldn't see a later version on PS3. developers just don't have solid word these days.
