Who is most awesome lady protagonist system wise (POLL)?

Voted for Ellie as it was nice to feel like you're playing as someone a bit more real. Clementine was similar in Walking Dead too. The other ones I'd only vote for because I like the game not the character and the feel of playing as them. Lara Croft and many of the others could be any generic lady really, Samus I forget I'm even playing as a female most of the time. It's a result of the games being more about the gameplay though and that's fine.

Most of those should say PC and not multiplatform because the PC version was the real version.

Well, out of that list I met Samus first. She may be the oldest up there, but I didn't do a double take.

I remember getting into arguments that Samus (before internet) was a woman after completing the original Metroid, so she has a fond spot in my heart.

Chun Li would be my 2nd. Street Fighter 2 was more impactful that Metroid in my life, and Chun Li played a huge part considering she was the first character I really mastered before moving on to the other 7 World Warriors.

Jill would be my 3rd and is the most recent of these three.

Actually it's stupid to tie them to platforms as the video game industry is sadly masculinized.

Out of all recent games, I'd say Amanda Ripley takes the crown and by a landslide.

I wonder if @SolidTy has played Alien: Isolation, I know he posted a pic of it in his collection, but he has never said anything about the game.

Yeah, I played Aliens Iso and I own it. You remembered my picture. I didn't even realize you saw it, lol.

I didn't finish it yet though. I didn't like poor Ripley's daughter being exposed to the Xenomorphs...tragic that she was exposed to the same fate as her mother. I'll put an effort into completing it hopefully this weekend. I was savoring it. I didn't realize you were waiting on me or I would have put in on priority and beat it months ago. Lately I've been playing Sega Genesis games, SNES, and NES games making sure my old gals still work.

Little Nemo Dreamcatcher, X-Men 2 Clone Wars, Tiny Toons, Little Mermaid, Master Blaster, Eternal Champions, Solar Jetman, Spiderman vs. Kingpin, Ninja Gaiden 3, Fester's Quest, Gremlins 2, Crystalis, X-Men Mutant Apocalypse, Columns, Altered Beast, etc.

Lara Croft followed by Kate Archer. Others don't even come close imo.

Now i'm getting interested in Persona series lol, never got around to play it even when i had PS 2 lol. Will see if i get any game on it on PS 3 in future lol.

Persona 3: FES and Persona 4 are both available on PS3 for just $10 each on the PSN Store (although you live in India, and none of them is on the Indian PSN Store, or at least, was not as of last June). Persona 5 will also launch on PS3 later this year.

Awesome. I buy retail only as i got indian PSN. I'll look into if i get retail versions of any of the older games cheaper online ( Flipkart or amazon ) or Persona 5 when it launches. Thanking you again for the info :)

No worries, dude.

If you do decide to buy retail, remember two things:

• Persona 3 and Persona 4 are PS2 games. If you buy the discs, make sure you have a PS2 to play them on (and that the discs you buy match the region of your PS2!) unless your PS3 is one of the original fat ones
• Neither Flipkart nor Amazon carry PS2 games much anymore, and certainly not Persona. Your best bet would be Play-Asia, where they should actually be pretty cheap (I think Persona 4 was Rs. 999 on there, which isn't too bad at all)

The complete lack of self consciousness of Bayonetta is an inspiration for me. I have learned the value of self consciousness, but I'm kinda done with it. She's a total scandal with sass and I love it.

Oh, i've Slim PS 3 unfortunately and sold my PS 2 :(. I'll have to wait for Persona 5 PS 3 launch then :)
