Who is the most Overrated Developer?

We have had hundreds of overrated characters and games threads but I would like to know who you think is the most overrated Developer this gen?

Mine is probably Bethesda. They don't make good RPG games I think

Blizzard + Rockstar.

Both are extremely overrated.

Rockstar, without a doubt. RDR is not a masterpeice and GTAIV is almost unplayable.

Valve can come up with a decent concept for a game (like Portal and Left 4 Dead), but totally fail in the execution. And they can't write a good plot to save their lives. I do like Team Fortress 2 though.TheFallenDemon

Oh I so got this :D

Rockstar easily. Their only decent game (IMHO anyway) is LA Noire.

Valve is overrated for Half Life, but their other games are excellent.

Naughty Dog is a bit overrated these days with Uncharted 2. I felt it was more movie than game, and I don't pay $60 for a movie. It seems everything went towards presentation and flash, rather than what you're actually gonna play. I still think they need to buy back the Crash Bandicoot IP and return to their true glory days.

Bioware is very overated. ME and DA are extremely boring. Not exactly bad (Except DA2, that's just horrible) but they just aren't my thing. DA:O was very good until about half way in where I got so bored I skipped everything I could just to get to the end faster.

Blizzard seriously need to get their act together

they got all their talent on Titan, the B-team is ruining Wow, they are ruining Diablo 3 in general by trying to appeal to the Wow crowd and thinking RMAH is a good idea, SC2 storyline being too hollywood like (Chris Metzen got called out on this and pretty much said sorry, HOTS better be good)

I was thinking about it but there are too many dev's and I would end up leaving out someone and I would get asked all about it in the comments.

Bungie, they've done a generic shooter and they are considered masters of the universe.

TL2 looks good

alot of the original Wow team moved to arenanet aswell, GW2 looks very good and maybe the actual Wow killer

I think so too. I thought RDR was a clunky mess with average game mechanics and a boring story

Mine is a game developer that everybody loves to death for some reason with incredible scores on all of their games (and maybe used to be great) but in reality just isn't that great anymore.

Developers like Rockstar and Blizzard fit that bill wonderfully.

Just because you made a list doesn't make it true. While I played and loved most of those games, I still dont see why somebody choosing valve as their most overrated dev' is any different from somebody else choosing somebody different. Saying Portal 2 is the best game ever are you? source?
