Who remembers when the sheep thought the Wii would revolutionize gaming? How many of those threads do we see today :lol:. Its ironic how their revolution has actually taken the opposite action and attempted to turn gaming into cheap 10min minigames. I can't believe all the sheep that have payed $250 for this crap. Here sheep, I can give you a link to all your games for free. Have fun checking your BMI index on your revolutionary new IP wiifit:lol:

Bu..But the wiimote has the potential

Through games like Wii Sports and past exaples like Brain Training in corollation to consumer spending it seems it is.

...And I still believe the Wiimote has potential.

When will sheep realize nintendo has crapped on you so they can make money off your grandparents?

your God Miyamoto doesn't even care anymore, as soon as he found out the wii actually is making money, he decides his great new IP will be WiiFit

1. Wii has. I am "into" my games at a whole new level and that is revolutionary.

2. I really don't think you want me to list the >4.0 games the 360 has, because there are more of them then the Wii has.

BTW Brown52: Nintendo isn't going to cancel every game to make Wii Fit like you and so man others think. It will come out, so so will stuff I'll actually buy.Try using your brain when typing.

Everyone remembers the great revolutionary games in gaming history. Wiisports is not one of them, and you are the one with the IQ issue if you honestly believe it is.

I really don't see what's so gr8 about the Wii, they basically changed the controls so instead of pushing the X button to jump or what ever you jolt the controller up, i don't see the "revolution" in that.

Plus how come all of a sudden sheep became so "hardcore" that they stopped caring about graphics?? is it true or are you just kidding yourselves sheep? i mean who would hate to have graphically impressive games?

i feel like ur right to an extent but ur taking it way too far, the wii could revolutionize gaming but now all it has done is applied a gimmicky control scheme to tons of game genres we alreayd know and some games we already know with ports like re4, i think mp3 might be the revolution wii fans (i myself am not a wii fan) are looking for

You really think RE4 Wii and Wii sports are a revolution? you really think these games deserve to be up there with games like FFVII and Half-life 2?

Dunno about metriod but it always scores high and people say that its a gr8 game.

I don't think I'm taking it too far. before the Wii launched every other sheep post on here was about thow the Wiimote could do 1:1 ratio and its going to make you feel like your in the game. It really hasn't delieverd on any of that. The wiimote is a "toy" more than it is a controller.

I hope you are able to make the connection that it is BLATANTLY obvious a Wii demo showing off the wiimote is not going to be much fun on the 360.

The wiimote is a "toy" more than it is a controller. Brown52

But a fun toy, to anyone but Sony and MS fanboys.

To the vast majority of people, the wiimote is infinitely more fun than a gamepad. My parents and sisters, who've always rolled their eyes at video games the 20 years I've been into, are now fighting over who gets to borrow my Wii. Therein lies the revolution. Clear enough?

Its a fun toy that lasts for about an hour or two before it gets old.

The wii has taken a step back in gaming. Games will continue to get more superficial and more yahoo games will be ported to the Wii for sheep to pay for.

Yeah I've done this thing called... driving. It's not revolutionary or anything, it's the same as walking, takes me from point A to point B. Yet so many people drive... it's crazy! They cost so much, and you have to keep paying for gas and insurance, and for repairs. Hell, driving didn't revolutionize travel, it's a step backwards and it kills your wallet in the process!

I agree, mini-games... and crap like wii-fit? Revolutionary.. lmao, compare this to other current gen stuff, and Wii looks horrible. It's just a cheap console with hardly any actual good real nintendo series games. Man, I miss the N64 and Gamecube (some) days.

What exaclty do you guys call a revolution? Tell me... if MS and Sony incorperate the mechanics of the wii mote to their next gen (or current via addon) Did Nintendo not make a new standard? What wil your little gamer children see when they take a history lesson. They will see that games were controled by digital pads and anolog sticks at one point. Then the Wii came and after then.. controls were never the same... yup that was a revolution. I will go so far to say that there will be even a speaker in Sony's iand MS's next controller.

I do not call the Wii a revolution. You can say the wiimote is innovative if you want. But it has done nothing to revolutionize gaming.

I think it's a revolution. And I'm a hermit. So many of my friends are buying wiis and throwing 'wii parties' - friends who've never heard of halo or killzone or world of warcraft. I think it's a unique and innovative 'alternative' to traditional gaming. I'd rather play FPS' and RTS', but there are millions of people in the world who don't.

Whether third parties realize it themselves that's a whole different story. And just how cows are forgiving themselves for waiting, I think sheep should too.

And all your arguments are based on scores? C'mon, you can do better than that.

Yeah I've done this thing called... driving. It's not revolutionary or anything, it's the same as walking, takes me from point A to point B. Yet so many people drive... it's crazy! They cost so much, and you have to keep paying for gas and insurance, and for repairs. Hell, driving didn't revolutionize travel, it's a step backwards and it kills your wallet in the process!RahnAetas
I don't think driving can fit in the same realm as VGs. VGs has a huge scopeto cover from game genres alone.

Now, if a car could fly me to the US back to the UK within 7 hours, running on reusable energy, roughly the size of a Honda Civic (Type-R preffered) and is just as affordable as any other car... That'll be some revolution. All that's left now is to wait.

[QUOTE="AntiType"]What exaclty do you guys call a revolution? Tell me... if MS and Sony incorperate the mechanics of the wii mote to their next gen (or current via addon) Did Nintendo not make a new standard? What wil your little gamer children see when they take history lesson. They will see that games were controled by digital pads and anolog sticks at one point. Then the Wii came and after then.. controls were never the same... yup that was a revolution. I will go so far to say that there will be even a speaker in Sony's iand MS's next controller.Brown52

I do not call the Wii a revolution. You can say the wiimote is innovative if you want. But it has done nothing to revolutionize gaming.

Are you saying cars weren't revolutionary?

Cars are not revolutionary in the way the Wii isn't revolutionary!

Yes we could, it's called real life. That or the arcades which does a better job at simulating baseball than Wii.

You really consider a slight wrist movement a swing?

Good point. There might be a time for the Wii to shine properly. Now is not it. Both PS3 and Wii are getting there.

Well we are talking about videogames, arnt we? yes arcades were able to have a control scheme that was suited for a single action... the wiimote is able to do much more then that. And in Wii Sports.... I swing.

This is my point. Sheep praised the wiimote for the idea that it was going to revolutionze gaming by making you feel like you are part of the game. I've played wiisports, in no way do you feel like you actually swinging at a ball. You don't even get to move your character around. He runs around till he gets close to the ball, and you flick the wiimote. There isn't any great control over your swing, you flick the wiimote and it plays an annimation. And the rest of the wii's crappy features don't help me to feel like I'm in the game either. Unless I was a stick figure I guess..
