Good to see you have no argument against it so you flame me instead. A+ post there da_bomb.Brown52
You don't argue with trolls. Look at your OP, and tell me that you weren't baiting.

I would, but I'd be lying. There is a lot of truth in it though, admit it.
Yeah I thought it would add depth and precision to games with 1:1 controls. Instead it simplifies everything to be played by anyone.... which just means dumbed down for non-gamers and lacking any depth.

HAHAHAHAAHAHHAHAHAH, no.
It has not revolutionized gaming. It just created an alternative way of playing a game.
the Wii came in with big promise but delivered it undercooked
If you don't think the Wii has revolutionized gaming, I think you got your head on backwards. It's changing the way we play, like my previous example. "Press the A button to swing your racket", go ask anyone whose timed 5 hours in Wii Tennis and ask them to play any Tennis game on a standard controller. They'll get bored within seconds.
The success of the Wii is going to impact gaming, if the Wii turns out to be more successful than the PS2, what do you think? Microsoft and Sony will just add some graphical improvements and throw out the next console at some bizzare price? No. The Wii would've been proven successful, it only makes sense to follow its business plan. Expect to see motion sensing or something else innovative in Microsoft's and Sony's next console.
[QUOTE="BuddaX"]It truly is a revolution for developers:
- Bucks the industry tend of rising development costs
- Gives devs a new interface to play with. They can acheive new plays styles other than the ones they have used for 20+ years.
- Opens the market to people who never played games(something the industry has been trying to do since the original NES and Atari)

It is not a revolution for developers because nobody is developing for it. 3rd parties like bioware and irrational are too busy developing revolutionary games like mass effect and bioshock on next gen consoles to have time to deal with wii. Disney develops for Nintendo.

EA
