[QUOTE="AntiType"][QUOTE="Brown52"][QUOTE="AntiType"]What exaclty do you guys call a revolution? Tell me... if MS and Sony incorperate the mechanics of the wii mote to their next gen (or current via addon) Did Nintendo not make a new standard? What wil your little gamer children see when they take history lesson. They will see that games were controled by digital pads and anolog sticks at one point. Then the Wii came and after then.. controls were never the same... yup that was a revolution. I will go so far to say that there will be even a speaker in Sony's iand MS's next controller.Brown52
I do not call the Wii a revolution. You can say the wiimote is innovative if you want. But it has done nothing to revolutionize gaming.
We wernt able to swing at a ball before now were we? We were limited to pressing a button. This is my point. Sheep praised the wiimote for the idea that it was going to revolutionze gaming by making you feel like you are part of the game. I've played wiisports, in no way do you feel like you actually swinging at a ball. You don't even get to move your character around. He runs around till he gets close to the ball, and you flick the wiimote. There isn't any great control over your swing, you flick the wiimote and it plays an annimation. And the rest of the wii's crappy features don't help me to feel like I'm in the game either. Unless I was a stick figure I guess..
I feel closer to the game... Im standing infront the the tv and swinging and hitting the balls. I even feel the implact when I hit it and the wiimote rumbles. Ive played tennis games before where I sat and pressed a buttons... they did not hold my interest at all.
