Last gen I made the switch to PC and I enjoyed the nicer graphics and it was fantastic. Last gen ran forever and frankly I had a lot more free time, console graphics vs pc was a huge gap. Right now the gap is growing but without going to higher than 1080p it's hard to see a significant difference like last gen, and to support that it requires a gpu that costs more than the consoles. Simply put this gen has a far more competitive price point.

Because I want too, simple as that. I do play games on PC when I want too, but I still prefer consoles in my heart. Plus, owning pretty much the best plasma HDTV on the planet helps hide jaggies and makes older games look good vs LCD trash.

Currently playing F.E.A.R. on PS3 even though its technically the worst version, but right now my 7th 360 is dead, my PC version is handicapped by my Logitech mouse. So I picked it up on PS3. It's fps dips are irritating, but it's better than the game going down into the teens permanently due to Logitech drivers. (its also very blurry). I can't play ME1 anymore due to EA saying I have installed it too many times so the PS3 version has become my main version, thus including 2 and 3 for save transfers now.

Just play games, it really doesn't matter in the end. Play what you want on what you want. I chose to play Rise of the Tomb Raider on PC, I choose to play the ME trilogy on PS3 now, I choose to play Witcher 3 on both (I love the game that much). I have Fallout 4 on PS4 just because I was really into the PS4 when it came out. I don't care about mods, I modded skyrim, in the end some were broken, caused the game to crash and by the time it was all complete I didn't want to play it anymore.

You know you can fix the logitech mouse issue. Just disable all the HID-compliant drivers in your USB drivers device manager area. Maybe you leave one enabled. I don't remember for sure, but I think gog.com fixed the mouse issue if you buy it off them.

@unrealgunner: controller is way harder to controll than a mouse. Everyone knows how to use a mouse.

I gave a pc nerd my ps4 controller and he couldnt even walk straight with it.

Lmao

You are making your community looks bad, kid...

Controllers suck they are only good for sports games anyway to get good at an FPS game for example you need to learn to use Keyboard and mouse

I started playing with mouse and keyboard decades ago and i still prefer a controller. And didn't you know that there are many PC gamers who play with console controllers? It's a matter of preference.

The fact of the matter is if you play an online FPS with a controller you're going to get destroyed, that alone pins it down as an inferior input device for the medium.

Why do people play non-exclusives on an inferior system. PCs with power are so cheap these days especially with the 1000 series cards have been announced. Why dont you have a PC, if you dont have one yet. Discuss?

Because a console runs games with acceptable graphics and performance, and not everyone wants to game on PC. What a stupid question.

But any multiplat I've played on console has been fine regarding actually being on console.

I have a PS4 and PC, where the PS4 is mainly for its exclusives now. PC is for all other games, and not just for the performance advantage, but even more so the price advantage, where I can get the given game for much much better deals than on console.
