Out of Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo, who do you think will stop support for their console first and move onto something else?

Microsoft would be the obvious answer.heretrix
Then closely followed by Nintendo and Sony will stop a quarter of the lifetime after PS4 launches.
I highly doubt it'll be Nintendo which is smoking 100 dollar bills right now. That just leaves Microsoft and Sony. For those two, I can't really tell.Out of Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo, who do you think will stop support for their console first and move onto something else?

no it isnt that dosent make any sense ms dropped first last gen because the xbox wasnt selling they arent having that problem this gen
? the 360 isn't doing that much better than the original...
wii is going to last a while.
I think sony if things don't shape up.
So far, it doesn't feel like the "year of the PS3" that sony keeps bragging about even with mgs 4

i disagree, saleswise i think 360 is doing better.
But in terms of games library, 360 is miles better than anything released since the ps2 (in fact, by the end of this gen, it MIGHT reach ps2's height)

this is a 360 bashing post? come on! tell the truth!
Microsoft will drop support first...
PS3 has a long life ahead(the PS2 lasted/is lasting 9+ years)
Wii, its hard to say, this is the unpridicable one,I mean the wii is a big sucess I dont think they will drop it right away but they might just to support the Wii2(its 50/50 with them)

Don't be so certain. Microsoft only has one prior system, and the main reason that was dropped so soon was because of a dispute with NVIDIA.
It won't be Nintendo considering the sales.
Between Sony and MS, i'd say MS. They DID drop the xbox1 early, and there are signs that the 360 is losing momentum. Sony HAVE said that they want the PS3 to last "10 years" - looking at the PS2, it's probable.
It depends on who gets their 8th Generation System out first. All three have had profitable years, so neither system is going anywhere anytime soon.

Microsoft seems like the best answer here. They have a history of being first out of the gate but last to finish the race, so I would put my my money on them.
Sony will probably commit to the PS3 for a while. I see no reason to upgrade in the next several years. Visuals are outstanding, and new controllers can be easily added without redesigning the entire system. I believe that the 10 year product life is an easily attainable goal, and I'm glad that my purchase will have lasted me so long.
As for Nintendo.... they defy all market trends and even logic in general. I couldn't predict their business plan even if I had a crystal ball!
