I disagree for example.

Overall prefeer Chrono trigger over Bioshock.

O prefeer WoW over, pretty much anything.

And I prefeer Super Metroid over Orange Box.

Now comparing graphics of chrono trigger (16 bit Snes) Over bioshock (on max special effects and graphics), we can see that in the reality, its all in the game that matters.

I respect your opinion on liking graphics over gameplay, but saying anyone who disagrees with you is a fanboy is just an oxymoron.

Last generation(when Nintendo's console was not the weakest), were the people that think graphics don't matter still fanboys?

What people dont realize is the abnormally big gap in graphics between 360/ps3 and the wii.It's not being nitpicky or being a graphics whore.

If you say that you think it's not a big deal that xbox has beter graphics than the ps2 then that's fine.The same just cannot be said for the wii.

Well,I have always thought that graphics didn't matter. It is just that I never had to say it. I still play my SNES, Genesis, N64, PS2(although not much, but I do and I am not lying), and I am fine with Wii's graphics. And I even have a 360. Because imo, some SNES games have just as good gameplay as some 360 games. imo gameplay is not getting any better each gen.

...I love the graphics for Chrono Trigger...I mean...especially for that day in age...you have to admit those graphics, animations and so on were simply amazing. Keep in mind hes most likely talking about the standard for games today. Like you said WoW you really like, but then again, what MMO looks better and plays atleast half as good? FF11 maybe, but IMO WoW keeps getting better and better with updates.

Graphics don't matter.

Graphics matter in some games but not all of them though. I love to play some of my old school games and I enjoy them as much as the newer ones. Comix Zone, Vector Man, Sonic CD, Crazy Taxi,the Metal Slug series, Street Fighter, Mario 3, Donkey Kong Country, Mortal Kombat Trilogy, Mortal Kombat 2,Jo Jo's Bizarre Adventure... etc.Gameplay is more important in my opinion but the doesn't make me a fanboy. I think you're just a graphic whore.

Good graphics are a nice addition, but by no means necessary. I now understand this after going back to play PSone games as of late and I'm enjoying them a whole lot.

Sorry if anything like this is posted constantly; I usually read the entire thread to see if I want to post but yeah, don't have the time currently. :P
