lol @ gta iv i own both versions and the 360 version is more brighter and better , come at me when they fix the darkness issue and other issues such as controls the ds3 is not a good controller due to the triggers
[QUOTE="delta3074"][QUOTE="White_Dreams"] No open world games perform well too, and games being linear is just the nature of gaming right now.White_DreamsThe PS3 also has less useable RAM for developers because the PS3's operating system overhead is bigger than the 360's and the split memory architecture was a misake for obvious reasons. I know it has less ram to use yes, nothing shoddy though.
Delta is wrong. The PS3 is actually superior in RAM. Here read this if you want to be educated on the systems:
Xbox 360 vs. PlayStation 3: The Hardware Throwdown - IGN
"512 MB GDDR3 RAM (shared with GPU) 256 MB XDR RAM 700 MHz speed 3.2 GHz speed 22.4 Gbps bandwidth 25.6 Gbps bandwidth
The verdict: Once again, the Xbox's total amount of RAM is slightly misleading, as the system RAM and video RAM are shared. The PS3's XDR RAM is also far more fast and efficient than the Xbox's GDDR3 RAM, running at a speed of 3.2 GHz compared to 700 MHz.
Final bandwidth numbers prove PS3 is the victor in this category.
Winner: PlayStation 3"

maybe it is BEFORE you take into account the 18MB extra useable RAM the 360 has and the Extra 10MB Edram, that being said split memory architecture is a bad idea anyway, even carmack stated that the memory was a little tighter on the Ps3 because SONY takes too much overhead, lolAnd 7 of these games would be?The PS3 has tons of open world games that run great. The few exceptions run poorly on the 360 too. I don't know how anyone can say that the PS3 doesn't pull off good open world games, because that just isn't true.

Because Betesda developes games mainly on the Xbox and when they port their already bug infested game to another console it goes noodle soup on them and Sony QA are just like...... f*** it
Uh, no ones talking specifically about bethesda, that seems to be the DC people keep using.Because Betesda developes games mainly on the Xbox and when they port their already bug infested game to another console it goes noodle soup on them and Sony QA are just like...... f*** it

If that was true there would not have already been, and more after, games that people constantly use against it. You give bethesda too much credit, especially when they are known this gen to have near unplayable game crashing software on every console compared to almost every other game. Not on PC.Because Betesda developes games mainly on the Xbox and when they port their already bug infested game to another console it goes noodle soup on them and Sony QA are just like...... f*** it

Having split ram was pretty shoddy. Not really evidenced in most games thoughTrue, because of developer skill, huge emphasis on cell loading, and linearity.[QUOTE="Stevo_the_gamer"][QUOTE="White_Dreams"] I know it has less ram to use yes, nothing shoddy though.White_Dreams
