Why do console gamers care about Crysis so much?

Would it be fair to say that mabey you bunch are fascinated with it?

Crysis is more than just great graphics. It's going in incorporate some great gameplay elements and totally revolutionize the first person shooter genre.

Once again, PC is leading the way. Like always.

When GS rates this, if they do not give it a 10 in graphics, I will never trust another review. I found it odd when rating Doom 3 how they said it was one of the most gorgeous games they ever played and they gave its graphics a 9... organic_machine

i've seen it posted a while ago but anyways i dont think it will be hard to duplicate a picture. i wanna see it in motion by the camera moving into different angles and the water moving to see how good it really is.halokillerz

Not you. I'm just pointing out to all the console fanboys that Crysis is a lot more than just looking good.

Actually, that is kind of true. It is physically impossible for a PC FPS to score a 10 on GS, no matter how amazing it is. But we hermits can dream.

Well, console gamers are jealous. They are all jealous about each others games. Some want Mario, some want Metal Gear Solid, some want Gears, etc. But the thing is that the faboys don't wan't to show their weakpoints. They are jealous, but don't show it. In stead, they are all bit**y about it. Sickens me. :)wapahala

No not really. A good comp costs 300 dollars or less... then you overclock it. At that point, you can produce these kind of graphics... its better than a console

Most of us PC gamers will only have to spend between $250-600 dollars for maximum gfx because we already have PCs. So we only need to get better video cards. Some people might need more ram/faster CPU, but the ram/CPU replacement much less likely if you are any sort of PC gamer at all.Wartzay

If I want to run it maxxed in DX9, I don't have to spend anything. If I want to run it maxxed in DX10, all I have to do is buy a $200 G80 when the game comes out.......

If I want to run it maxxed in DX9, I don't have to spend anything. If I want to run it maxxed in DX10, all I have to do is buy a $200 G80 when the game comes out.......

I'm just saying that's all I would have to spend. Many already have a PC capable of running it maxxed. Most of the screens you have seen are in DX9. It will still be the best looking game out there in DX9. If you want the full console experiance, you will also have to buy an expensive HDTV, which probably costs more than my PC........
