Why do cows cringe at the thought of buying a 360

I mean honestly what is so bad about it. Hardware aside which actually has improved a lot what is wrong with it. It has the most diverse library and it has a lot of quality and quantity in terms of games.

I mean does buying a 360 means that you can no longer look at your PS3 with pride. A lot of you fanboys make no sense and wish failure upon games because it isn't on your system. Just buy a 360 unless you are finacially unable to do it.

Honestly if you are finacially uable to do it you shouldn't be gaming in the first place. You should get your priorities straight and make sure your economically sound.

I understand your buying a PS3 for its exclusives, but the majority of the exclusives you guys are clamoring for doesn't even have a release window, or it gets delayed, and maybe even canceled.

Then a lot of you guys cry because Sony isn't providing JRPGs, but the 360 is getting. Instead of buying the 360 you downplay the games and make the little bit of rpgs you do have bigger than what it actually is. FFXIII is most likely going to be a good game, but it doesn't make the rpgs on the competition fail in comparison.

I am getting a PS3 for FFXIII and FXIII verus, but that will not be until the game actually releases. I understand you don't mind palying the waiting game, but why fume and spew hate on the other consoles because it just seems like they are getting the games.

If you guys call yourself gamers you should be glad there is competition. Maybe it will wake up Sony and make them realize that need to provide the games

The PS2 did, but the PS3 is failing on all fronts. If they focused more on gaming then Blu ray from the start this probaly wouldn't be an issue.

i hate sony, but i would buy a PS3 for FF XIII and or GT5. I dont love M$ that much that i would deny myself some awesoem games, thats just silly. I just dont feel there is any need to own another peice of gamign hardware at the moment.

i have a 360 for halo and about 10-15 other games, i have a wii for zelda and the other first party games, but at the moment i cant convice myself buying a ps3 is that good idea ( i dont want MGS4 ).

I personally don't see a reason for an X360. I almost bought one for Gears, I almost bought one for Bioshock and I even had it in my cart when Mass Effect came out, but all those games have come to PC. So the combination of PS3 and PC offers the best bang for my buck. Between the two I get true exclusives for PS3 and everything else I want for X360 I can play on my PC. Add in the hardware failures, the ridiculous online fee, the overpriced accessories, the DRM issues, and I see no reason for an X360 especially at it's current price.

MS has a strong track record of selling inferior products and selling a lot of said inferior products through superior marketing. Why would anybody with common sense think the 360 is any different.

Gaming is cheap, most hobbys (Snowboarding for example) cost a lot more.

Thats utter crap. I pay for 1 system and play the games that come to it, thus having the money to build a 75 game collection.

I dont buy more than one system and buy 3 or 4 games for each system.

Yes the 360 has made great strides in the JRPG department but its far from a reason to buy the system. So far the JRPGs that are exclusive to the 360 that have released have been far from stellar. PS2 is still the system of choice for JRPGs. I mean everyone currently is getting hyped about Star Ocean 4 but it doesnt release until 09 the same year as FFXIII and versus and the devs dont even seem confident enough to claim it to be exclusive.

Most of the quality 360 JRPGs will make their appearance on the PS3 and the PS3 has the biggest JRPG franchise exclusive.

Eternal Sonata is not exclusive and Lost Odyssey although you may like did not reap in the critical acclaim. Many complaints were load times and less then stellar story, things that can make or break a JRPG.

Yup. I mean, I understand if you dont have the extra cash to spend, but the least you can do is not be a super fanboy and bash the other system you dont own.

But yeah, lemmings cringe at buying PS3s the same way cows cringe at buying 360s. How many times have you heard a lemming say, "I dont need a Blu Ray player so I'm not buying a PS3" or "The PS3 is a movie player first, game console second". It's just part of being a fanboy.

That gimmick 3 year warranty is almost up. Some customers warranty expire this winter. So what happens when 360s break and they have to pay additional for repairs.

Say they purchased a 360 at $399, and have to pay for repairs, that alone jacks up the price beyond the PS3.

I am not overblowing it. My cousin, the only 360 owner in the family is on his 4th 360 already.

It should be a Lifetime Warranty. 3 years? Many people plan to play their console alot longer than that. MS is just gonna piss off people when they have to pay for their own repairs.

Let's be honest you don't know what you are talking about. Last gen I was a huge Xbox fan, Microsoft was awesome as a startup gaming company and the hardware was top notch, I also had a gamecube and gaming PC. Lastgen I never got around to getting a PS2. I don't feel the same way this gen about X360.

link? Only Eternal Sonata is going to the PS3 and that is Japan only. If TOV goes that is Japan Only. IU, SO4, LO, and many more is 360 exclusive. While FFXII is big it is only one game. What JRPG fan only plays FF?too_much_eslim

And what JRPG fan plays the majority of their JRPGs from mainly one company. Mistwalker is the company contributing most of the 360s JRPGs. I can buy a game from Japan and play it on my PS3 because the games are region free. SO4 has yet to prove if it will remain "exclusive", it wont come out till 09 and they arent ruling out a PS3 version.

I was always on Playstation, I never had the first Xbox. I got the 360 because it was new thing out at the time. I traded the 360 to gamestop for a PS3 because I got, keyword...( I ) the RROD. I was gonna get the PS3 anyway, the trade just made it cheaper for me. I only came out of pocket only like $160 for a 80GB PS3. CubanBlunt
