Why do people think that Gabe Newell or Valve are saints?

Valve like every other major company turned their backs on everything they believed in to make some extra buck, which they don't even need. They take what, 20%, 30% of every game sold on steam. 100% from every Valve game.First they say they hate consoles, but suddenly L4D comes out and it's a console game. It's not a PC game ported to consoles....it's a console game...made to work on PC.Then Gabe only hates the PS3. But then he saw that the PS3 makes major money, and now Portal is best bought on PS3.$$$$Seriouslywhy do people like this guy and this company?

They make more money with insane deals. It's not like they're doing it for us. And they have the developers permission.GeneralShowzer

Yes because providing quality games at low prices isn't a service to their fanbase :roll: when they could just as easily be setting prices much higher
