Why do the other systems get Soulcalibur IV but not the Wii?

Yea it sold the most on the Cube thanks to having Link. but get this......The GC was on par with the Xbox and PS2 in terms of hardware and it was a machine that most 3rd parties actually cared about.

The Wii well um....just sucks.

before you call me a fanboy i have a wii and a 360 and the wii cant handle games like SC4 plus all the grandmothers and 3 year olds playing the casual games ( like 80% ) arent interested

If it sucks so bad why is it the number 1 system? Namco will regret not catering to the wii when it burys Xbox and PS3 like its been doing Namco can't be that smart.

My mind is still blown that the Wii is even getting Dead Rising. The Wii normally doesn't get a multiplatform game unless it's also coming to the PS2. There will be some, but don't expect it to happen too often, it's not easy to redesign games made for next-gen hardware on last-gen technology and retain the same quality of gameplay. Wii is getting the DR because it's the best system out there right now sales don't lie pretty soon all you're going to be seeing is Wii games smart developers know this ;)

Anyway, what I meant was that despite the GameCube having the smallest install base last generation, Soul Calibur 2 still sold the best on the GameCube. Now the Wii has the largest install base this generation so imagine how a good Soul Calibur title would sell on the Wii.

Of course it does I find it funny that this argument only comes around when Wii is beating the Xbox when they said the same thing about PS3 but don't worry soon everyone will have a Wii and there will be no need for an Xbox or PS3 just wait and see Wii will win bet the bank on it its the best ;)

No, it's not.
The Wii is by far the WEAKEST CONSOLE Next gen. Unlike Previous Generation's, Nintendo did something strange this gen....and it worked. VERY, VERY, VERY Profitable.

Anyways, The Wii doesn't get many games like GTA4, DMC4, Assassin's Creed, BioShock, and others due to it's lack of power.

Of course, Namco did offer the Wii an exclusive SC game, SC Legends, enjoy.

No, over time the PS2 sales dominated all over it. What you are remembering is the initial month that it broke, because that was a big deal. Over time, the GC's small fanbase killed SC2's sales.

Sales of hardware doesn't mean anything if 3rd party doesn't sell on it. Why would Namco be so dumb to release a game that does not appeal to the audience? If you had a choice to choose between xbox ps3 or wii version, i'm sure Wii version will be the last option.
