Why do Wii fans always deny the PS Move is superior to Wiimote?

Mostly because I know it won't matter. Nintendo's software will always be better than Sony's when it comes to motion for 2 BIG reasons:

1. Nintendo has a 4-year head start on designing motion games
2. Nintendo's Wii-mote is standard which leads to The Legend of Zelda Wii being Motion+ exclusive

Will Sony support Move? Sure... but with games that are better suited for a standard controller. The Move really will be a replacement for a button press.

Imo, the PS Move may be technically superior to the Wiimote, but that may or may not matter because all I've seen of the move (ugh) launch lineup is some crappy kid's "party" games, and SOCOM. and the LBP update.

I'm not deciding until Movie is released but Move probably wouldn't take off like the Wii remote did because it isn't standard. If it was standard then it would be easier to see which is better because both controllers would get the same ammount of software and it would be easier to judge.

1st of all. Wiimote+nuchnuck released in 2006 and WM+ in 2009. I'm not saying first = better. I'm saying whatever Move does, Wii 2 will counter and do better.

Second. The games. I want them to incorporate motion and especially IR into the main games. Not having this separate groups with 1 being casual games (Move) and a group for "hardcores" with regular controls and that is a turn off.

Now however, as I've said many times before, what makes the Wiimote unique isn't what it does but rather the fact that it is the standard controller for its respective console. From a developer's perspective that is an important distinction. It means you don't have to split your potential audience by building games for the controller.

Trust me, Uncharted 2 is worthy of GOTY... of 2009. In any other year this gen it would've been eaten by the competition. It simply lacks innovation, it's just a very polished game, that doesn't do anything new, except for minor concepts like dynamic sound which I totally loved.

Nobody can rival with Nintendo on the aspect of gameplay. SMG is living proof

Im not denying jack.

I prefer my Wii to the 360 and PS3 but I know a superior device when I see it.

With that said I dont think itll take off or be talked about nearly as much as the Wii has.

To be honest I think I wouldnt thought less of Sony if they didnt copy Nintendo.

Sony is dead last and Nintendo is sitting on a gold mine.

Better to copy something great then to make something original and terrible (which probably wouldve happened).

It may be a dirty move but maybe thisll give Sony a serious sales nudge.

Sony should do more research in the non gaming features department, that's the only thing they're good at

I think whether the Move will be better remains to be seen until it releases, and then it only matters if software follows to take advantage of it.

Same thing with Natal, but I'm much more skeptical of that.
