i would really like to see why people think pc gaming is dying. whenever i see that its dying, its never backed up with anything other than the fact that there are 3-4 games that didnt come out on pc. how does that indicate that pc gaming is dying? all that shows is that, for example, microsoft doesnt want halo 3 or reach on pc because of funding, splitting audiences, and the probability that the game will barely even sell, if at all.
business decisions may be bringing PC gamers less games, or making more previous PC exclusives into multiplat titles, but such decisions are not 'killing' pc gaming. i feel that the term 'dying' is misused in this situation, and i would most definitely agree that, perhaps, PC gaming might have degraded over the past few years, rather than saying that its on a continual downward spiral into an eventual 'death'. this is a completely absurd exaggeration based on a small number of games.
whatever you want to call that degeneration in quality, it has reached as low as it is going to get, in my opinion.
so i ask you, why do you say pc gaming is dying?
inb4 "BECUZ MW2 HAS NO DEDICATED SERVERS" and "BLACK OPS ISNT OPTIMIZED ON PC", or anything regarding call of duty.
