I like how you shrug off the PC exclusive list when its 2011 line-up arguably out does every other platform, as well as the multiplatform advantage the system has. Yes PC gaming has alienated some markets, but in its transformation over the last 5 years new markets have emerged (digital to be specific) that have opened avenues for more games to be released for the platform.

If we dont see anything of these so called "great PC hits" anywhere advertised or talked about then how popular are they going to be? I mean really? I NEVER see any pc games advertised on tv except maybe SIMS and WOW..and thats it. So it dont matter if PC gets 1000 AAAAAAAAA games cause they are pretty much unknown. AND im not dissing the PC..Im just stating that MOST gamers out there will never even hear of them, mush less play them. I know PC is still kicking, thats great, but its not "popular" anymore and thats that..AND by popular I mean..at least 6 out of my 10 friends plays PC games..As far as I know..NONE of my friends do. Everyone has switched to consoles since they have great online play, DL content, updates, ect...COnsoles have come a long way and will only get better.
I don't understand your point, something has to be popular to be good? I can't agree with that. Seriously, is that your argument? An AAAe isn't an achievement if it isn't advertised on TV? It may not be popular in the mainstream sense (excluding WoW/Sims/Farmville etc), but if the platform is getting that many high rated exclusives then it has to have an audience somewhere, wouldn't you agree? Maybe in other countries? I also like how you give anecdotal evidence to support your claims, my friend group almost exclusively plays on PC, is that an indication of PC gaming's popularity? PC gaming isn't stagnating either, you know, it has evolved more in the past 5 years than it had in the previous 10.
