Everything I have seen on The Order has been hand holding pulled out of the actual gameplay. At least they were actually playing quantum break for extended periods of time?
A small glimpse of a demo in QB >>>>>>> everything I have seen from The order. Graphics and game play. If you have an X1 go watch the actual demo feed in real time. The stream does it ZERO justice. Mind blown at what was going on in that engine. When the surfaces actually buckle from manipulation... My god.

Have to make sure to knock a SONY exclusive in a MS thread?
Dat insecurity.
We all love MS don't worry.
A Knock deserved?
That handholding game is a tragedy to gamers. You do see that right?
It is no more than a casual rental at best from what I have seen... You?
You dropping 60 bones for that on rails hand holding gameplay?
No Online: Check
No multi-player: Check

Maybe quantum break is like that too? A generic cover corridor shooter that includes TV(LOL). But nooo.....have to bring up a SONY game..lmao.
Quantum break have online or MP?
Linear, certainly not an open world game..lolno: Check
During a Microsoft press conference Sam Lake, Creative Director at Remedy, took the stage to give a live demo of the new Xbox One Exclusive Quantum Break. The game looks like a lot of fun.
Lake called Quantum Break a cinematic-inspired action game.
Guess I'll rent it or buy it used.

I don't have enough details on QB to make those assumptions?
I have seen enough of The Order to make the factual claims that I did.
QB has none of those features you stated? Please link me? I'm interested on any info you can find.
I only saw a small demo of QB that Warped (pun intended) my mind.
EDIT: A cow makes a Microsoft exclusive bashing thread. He opens the door for backlash.

Link me to MP,Online and open world game for Quantum Break because obviously you've played it, just like The Order...lmao
Because it's more of the same old tired saggy formula.
Not to say that it won't be fun or interesting, just that, there should be more innovation.
i watched some last night, it appealed to me and the mrs. so does the order, project x, and a few other console games.

That's what I had said. I watched the whole Microsoft conference on my XB1 in glorious 1080P. The videos of QB on Youtube and these sites don't even compare. You have to see it playing in person or on a HD stream to really appreciate the graphical brillance of this game. The effects left me speechless.
Game looks fun. Really wish it were coming out for PC or PS4, I'd definitely get it. Hell if more games like this come to Xbox One I might get one.

I watched again on X1 and It blew my mind.. I was skeptical till I saw that footage. When the wood buckled on the peer....wow.
The detail in that video on the X1.... No the YouTube and stream shit is very misleading. It fooled me bad. Till I saw the true demo.
EDIT: I was seriously like Meh.... till I saw that X1 video. I was not impressed at all by the stream or web videos.

Name a game coming out that is innovating?
EDIT: More than QB with time manipulation?
Loss of words?
Just 1 game please.

RIME and Hohokum stand out imo.
But I wasn't actually comparing it to anything. The industry in general is just uninspired and full of greed (which results in repetition of safe gameplay mechanics), and this game is just another one of those.
But again, ideas are not games, even if it doesn't involve much innovation, the game will still be enjoyable and it certainly looks very cool.

Apparently QB is using pitch based partical mass in which light travels through and from the particles themselves. This has yet to be achieved in any other game I've heard of. It's CGI techniques. Also it's reflections are not only limited toa single geometry space. It reflects particles in their full geometric form.
I have no idea how people even can say The Order competes with it's forward renderer, pre baked shadows, and 800p buffer (lol). And when it comes to PC, it will perhaps do even more crazy stuff. But all I said was on the XB1 version. The integral-based lighting pass devoids any bloom buffer so that the objects can be properly lit while spill in the scenes can be eliminated. Techniques only available on XBOX ONE fall 2015!
If you have access to an X1...do yourself a favor and watch that video. Seriously. When I saw the live stream and YouTube videos. I was honestly not impressed at ALL. A little maybe. Then I saw that video. It gave me chills dude. Honestly... Hard to admit that.

QFT
Not sure about the games you mentioned. I sure hope we see something this Gen that will set a standard for achieving gameplay not seen EVER. I back you 100%.
Was anyone incredibly underwhelmed by the gameplay reveal of Quantum Break? I was honestly expecting something unique and fresh from Remedy. In reality, its probably the most generic looking game at gamescom. The action and shooting looked kinda bad. Weak gun sounds and powers which only look okay.
In a new generation of consoles, I think Microsoft needs to take more risks instead of making more everyday shooters.
I dunno. we've seen very little of it. maybe wait a little? just sayin.
@Heil68: I KNOW the ORDER has none of the things I mentioned.
I know nothing about QB? I was serious about linking me the info you claimed about QB? I'm sure you're not a fud spreader too?
My quote was from the game developer and there is no mention of ANY MP or Online.
Oi, lems are as annoying as cows. The only ones I don't mind are sheep now.
Only a COW would back The Order. Da Bears!
I didn't back the order. Both games look boring.
Bears looked horrid. Thankfully for you it's only preseason.
Thankfully for me? I'm not playing. The Bears are. :p
Defense bent but didn't break. Till they had to go right back onto the field. Kelvin Hayden penalty on 3rd and 13, then the blown coverage after the Weems turnover.
Eric Weems bringing it out 10 yards deep into the end zone helped? Then giving them a short field on a fumble?
Bears will be fine. Worry about those skins :p
OT: Quantum Break looks amazing. IMO

Cool.
suddenly lemmings like standard cover based TPS.. LOL
Gears of War ring a bell?
lemmings expected something new from the order 1886, but nooooooooooooooooooooo they don't care about quantum payne standard cover based TPS bringing nothing new on the table.

Damn Blackace = B4X confirmed.
The jig is up, was if fun while it lasted?
Halflife brought the "interactive" cutscene into the mainstream and was evolutionary because it brought the player closer to the story/events. Since then, it was copied until noone apparently remembered why it worked so well in the first place:
It was a storytelling mechanic, which did not take you out of the gameplay, yet we've come full circle and "interactive" cutscenes are pretty much back to being plain old..... Cutscenes.... And if that's what we're going to get, I'm fine with just watching.
MGS4 understood this. The Batman games do so as well.

Some PSP developers vs Remedy.
Nothing more to be said really.
why would you expect something new from Remedy? They're amazing at making TPS, why would you expect anything else? It looks cool
Because Remedy use to do cool and unique stuff when they made games. Quantum Break looks like it could be from anyone. Its got the same copy and pasted shooter combat with some powers thrown in. The game also didn't look that great. The shooting looked awkward and I didn't see the point of freezing individual targets when you could just shoot them instead.

Well, I didn't know that. I guess you do learn something new every day. Even on SW. Where are you getting all this information from? Is this on Remedy's website?
