The problem is that people use "preferences" AKA opinions to argue that PC isn't better, it is better, and you can't win a debate with opinions. OPINION DEBATE Guy 1: "A Ferrari is better for racing than a Ford Pinto." Guy 2: "But I like the Pinto better." Guy 1: "So? That doesn't prove anything. Doesn't change the fact that the Ferrari is better" Replace "pinto" with consoles, and "Ferrari" with PC, and "Racing" with gaming, and that's console gamer's argument. It is childish to use opinions to PROVE something. And know, PC's are still not more expensive like a Ferrari is. So it should be okay to have hateful stereotypes? "I just play games, and forget about whats best and whats worst and all that crap" so basicly, you are complacent, have no standards, and are contributing to the decline of quality games. Because they are only technically possible on consoles? NOPE! Because they are higher quality on consoles? NOPE! Microsoft and Sony bribe companies for excusives? YES! Simply because the console market is larger? YES! And why are the console markets more popular? BECAUSE PEOPLE HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF HOW GOOD PC IS, AND HAVE MISCONCEPTIONS!!!? YES!!!!! PC is better as stated, all games on console can be done better on PC (even fighters and the like because controllers are use able on PC), the only thing consoles do is hold back developers from improving, innovating, and taking risks to move forward due to out-dated, stagnant hardware, and money-hungry, all-powerful (control the consoles completely, since it solely their closed platform) companies like Sony/Microsoft wanting to make repetitive, low-risk sequels like Call of Duty instead of pushing, improving, taking risks, and innovating for quality (instead of shameless cash-cows) due to an open platform without an all-controlling corporation that also has unlimited hardware potential. So basicly whether it insults you or not, it is true that PC is superior and gaming would be better off if there were no consoles, this shouldn't insult you, bevause you CAN just buy a gaming PC, no one is stopping you, if you know these facts and still keep a console, THEN you are a fool.I am a stubborn fool who games on consoles (and PC, omg hurr durr), and I am contributing to the decline of quality games. Assuming that games are bad quality. Assuming that companies bribing developers into releasing games on console has anything to do with me and my choice to play a particular game that exists on a console and not on PC. If these games were on PC, maybe I would be a PC-only gamer. If the Tales, Metroid, Metal Gear, etc series were on PC I would be a PC-only gamer.

Nintendo takes the big risks, and they are crapped on by the gaming community. Nintendo are about improving ways to play games, but they are crapped on for using very dated hardware.
A lot of PC games these days are consolized ports, what do you expect me to do? Sit at my PC, playing the bad version and cry about consoles getting all the attention ? Do you think it has ANYTHING to do with ME when it comes to BUSINESS between companies and what platform a game is on? A game I want to play is on a particular platform, therefore I buy get that platform and the game for it. I'm not going to steer away from it just because your attitude deems me ignorant or foolish just because I purchase inferior hardware.
Yes, all games on console can be done better on PC, but they aren't always. Like I said, what do you expect me to do? Sit at my PC and whine about the console market?

I play games on PC, but I don't want to upgrade because I am satisfied playing a game where I am restricted to mod or upscale it- on my console. I play games on my PC but they are older games. I am happy with those games? So what am I? Ignorant? Foolish? I don't want to upgrade my pc because in the long run it WILL cost more money, I will be using more power
Let's go, AGAIN!!! 1. Huh? Yeah, that's the problem, the only reason you have to play those games on a console is because of bribing exclusivity deals, not because those consoles are the best platform to play them on, anti-quality money-grubbing. 2.Uncharted, Gears of War, Halo, Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, all these franchises and many more did in their sequels was just play it very safe, adding mostly minimal improvements. Not like, say, Half Life 1 to Half Life 2. The developing mindset there is lazy, and not concerned with quality, JUST money, obviously you have to make money, but that doesn't mean you can be cheap and cut corners and bring crap products to your customers. 3. HAHAHA! Nintendo? Risk taker? I'll admit the wiimote is an innovation, but it was too lazy to be fully realized, the majority of their big games are re-hashes of DECADES old franchises like Donkey Kong, Mario, Zelda, all trying to recapture the glory days of the older games (not unlike MW2, Blops, and MW3 trying to rehash CoD4's glory). 4. Lol at PC console ports being the "bad version". Lol, games like Batman Arkham City are ports and they are the best versions, any exception is because the lazy developer treated the PC version as an afterthought. 5.Yeah, maybe there are games you want to play on console, but like I said there is no reason for that game to be restricted on console, it could be done EVEN better. 6. How is the Ferrari/Pinto METAPHOR invalid? It's not an "example" genius, it's a metaphor for that logic. 7. All companies are cash-cows? A company has to be concerned with profit, I understand that, but that doesn't mean they can put in no effort, cut corners, and try to shameless milk you and rip you off, or unfairly bribe things to their favor. 8.You should upgrade your PC BECAUSE IT IS CHEAPER!! I's an all in one device cheaper than a separate computer and console, you spend much less on actual games, and in 4-5 years when another console is coming out anyway, you can buy a $200-400 or so upgrade instead of a $400-600 next gen console. I can tell, you are one of those people who think you have to upgrade every 2 years or EVEN 1 YEAR to keep playing good games. And no, having one device will save you on power, especially because PC parts are becoming rapidly more efficient with power than the 5-6 year old parts in consoles. 7.
