Why Frame-Rate is more important than Resolution?

I would say framerate is more important than resolution. You can play a game thats not clean, but its much harder to play a slideshow. Of course there are slight caveats as well.

For one, I tend to have good on both so whatever. If it were down to a slight drop in res for great framerate ie 720p to 60 fps, compared to 1080p with a steady 30 fps, I would take the higher res myself. Depends on the game as well, but for the most part I would take stable fps higher res.

When I'm playing on a console, I prefer good framerate over higher resolution. I cannot stand poor performance.

On PC, I have the luxury of both.

What difference does it make if most high end gpu's cant play Crysis 3 maxed at 60fps? I run Crysis 3 with a few settings at medium and it still blows away KZ SF
