Why is Gears of War 3 so disappointing

>mfw people compare stories b/w gears iterations

Haven't played 3 yet, but there's no possible way the story could be notably worse than Gears 2. Unless they royally botched the gameplay, which I doubt they have based upon my limited exposure to the game, there isn't really anything to complain about.

The original was a good game , the 2nd one was pretty good except for the broken multiplayer, but the 3rd installment was complete crap. The story was garbage with a crap ending, i mean if Mass Effect 3 hadn't come along Gears 3 would have had my vote for worst ending ever. Its such a sad thing to see EPic games whoring themelves for MS and producing this garbage.

I just recently played through the whole trilogy for the first time and I felt like the series continued to get better and that the 3rd was my favorite. I can't speak for the online since I didn't even try with the first 2, but I like what I have played on 3. I know that the story wasn't great, but I just thought the 3rd was the most fun

Its so annoying when people act like Halo and Gears are luck based games. Even though its always the same players dominating and the same players going negative. Even the closest shooter to being luck based COD its always the same players going 30-5 and the crappy players going 2-20. People just can't admit they suck at a game and just play for fun it always has to be the games fault.JohnnyCageMK

I agree, while Gears multiplayer wasn't my forte, i do love Halo's multi, i put alot of hours into 2 and 3 and alot of system link parties with CE and there is some skill involved with Halo, its not just camp and kill like COD.

In the time that I have spent with the games I never noticed any aim assist, I know what you are talking about because I have seen it in other games but not in gears or halo...as far as I know
