why is the ps3 favored in system wars?

i posted a poll a while back as far as what people think is the best console. i've done this a few times and most people vote for the ps3. Is this a case of fanboys wanting to justify their purchase because they spent so much money for it or is there another more logical nonbiased reason?

To be honest I've had a 360 this entire gen. I'm starting to find the games to be missing that extra something and if you have a good reason why i should spend that kind of money now is your chance. To be honest i've held off this long ebcause ps3 exclusives for the most part are pretty limited. I do think it has more potential but it's not really being taken advantage of like i would like.

Well, I do think the 360 is the best console out of the three this gen. However, I've also had a PS3 for a while and must say it's exclusives now are amazing.

The 360 does however have my favorite online service. Both are amazing systems.

Just to let u know though, I've been on these forums for years. Ever since around 2008ish, it's been run by PS3 fans from what I notice

well that's the thing. the 360 is just fine. multiplats run better on it, why i've kept it this gen this long. 90% of games are multiplats. But i do think it's games are missing that extra something sometimes. take mlb 2k10 vs teh show for example. The Show is a proprietary game really taking advantage of the ps3's architecture and it shows what it can do when it's taken advantage of. mbl 2k10 looks just fine this year but it's missing that extra something.

but now it seems that the xbox is showing its age and holding back the PS3 with its DVD9, Blu-ray IS the futre,we just have to make the move towards it.

But the next question is for how long until you move to digital distributing

It has the most momentum right now, that's why. If the 360 has the same success this year like the PS3 did last year roles will reverse.

what's even more pointless is responding to a question without even answering it. Which makes it pointless. I don't like you. You've responded to a few of my posts with really rude behavior. You obviously have a serious chip on your shoulder and need to get out more. How about answering the question? Thsi is system wars. It seems like a great place to ask why certain people think a console is better to me.

Some might say it's because there's just more Sony fans in these forums. Considering the PS2 is the most successful console and have the largest userbase, you would assume a large number of those Sony fans are on these forums. Even though Nintendo have a large install base this gen, you can argue those fans are casuals and why would they go on these forums.

There are more PS3 fans that like to troll message boards than 360 fans.

I think the PS3 APPEARS to be favored for a number of reasons 1- More cows here 2- Cows troll more 3- PS3 had a great year last year 4- MGS4 got a 10 5- Uncharted won many GOTY awards 6- Sony PR Its a known fact around here that cows are more numerous, and more vocal than any other faction. They are like small dogs, their bark is FAR louder than their bite. We hear from cows way more with the trolling, the crazy threads, and poll spamming. Not that other factions dont do these things, but cows have become known for it, just take a look through the first few pages of threads on any given day. Ive been here for YEARS, and this was going on even before the PS3 was out, so none of that "lemmings were bad during the first 2yrs" crap because cows created 360 bashing threads even then.navyguy21

Everybody I know who has a ps3 has eventually gotten a 360 and now barely touch their ps3s except for when new hyped exclusives come out for it. That's why I never got a ps3 since I already own a 360. You'd be better off going PC or wii if you're looking for a new gaming experience.
