There has recently been many threads popping up about how consoles are turning into PCs etc, but that won't happen since consoles are selling so well like tey don't ever post PC sales well here are a few points to get across from me. This is my reasons for why PC gaming is going to die.

1. The PC has installation, how many times do you just want to put the game in and play it? but no everytime you play you have to install it! FRUSTRATING :D!

2. There are so many bugs. I mean every PC games needs like so many patches to fix it. Look at WoW, my friends tells me there are new patches nearly every few weeks...and it's been out for four years, imagine the sheer amount of problems at the start. :O

3. CD KEYS, these things are annoying as hell to type in and usually at least takes me about 10 goes. I mean why can't they just make it like consoles so PCs are pirate-proof.

4. Lack of variety - PC games only have shooters, when was the last time you heard a PC gamer play something that isn't a shooter? counter stirke? nope, team fortress? nope

5. High price and easily breakable - I have a PC and it costs $2000! Not to mention I keep getting viruses on it and stuff and costs me so much to fix it.

That's why PC gaming will be the first to die, then maybe the Wii cause of the lack of exclusives.

I miss the trolls who actually put effort in their threads. People like Yofoo, KeyWii, Gingerdivid and to a lesser extent, Jasonheyman. Nowadays this is all we get.

2. WoW is a massive game, pretty sure you aren't aware of the scale of that game. And the problems they fix, most of the time, aren't major ones.

No one is dieing, but there are platforms in more trouble than others. Quite frankly I look at the current state of console gaming and wonder how they intend to compete next generation, they are already writing checks for their differentiators this generation.

The WoW patches are not bug patches; they're content and ****balance patches. Blizzard is adding more to the game.

PC parts from good brands have longer warranties than any 360 does. They are also far more reliable. The rest of your points are worse than your OP, and that's saying a lot.

If you won't take my word for it take Sony's, consoles have to pay for their exclusives this gen because the rising development costs on consoles force developers cross platform.

It is also happening on PC with any games with high development costs. But because our hardware isn't fixed developers don't feel obligated to meet a specific hardware set standard that forces costs up, which means more games can afford to stay exclusive to our platform.

Microsoft and Sony need to differentiate themselves from the competition so consumers have a reason to pick one over the other. That is becoming increasingly difficult and expensive, which spells out trouble in consoles future if they keep down this high cost rout.
