Why PC's will always top consoles...

In response to the ignorant thread on this board....

First of all you are either bitter because you havent been able to get a new OS since Windows 95 or you smoked a little to much weed last night and you opinions have been messed around with...

First of all almost all genres of games look, run, and feel better on the PC, For example (FPS) Mouse and Keyboard dominate the feel of analog sticks, ounce crysis comes out it will make all you cows think your beloved cell is a piece of junk, (RTS) nothing really to say here other than the fact that PC owns this genre. (MMO) seroiusly ounce a console comes out with a decent MMO that handles well call me. (RPG) Bioshock looked so much better on my rig then it did on my friends 360 and it controlled a lot better. (Online Shooters) thenumber of gamers per roomon console games is abolutley pitiful to that of the PC.

And last of all the hermits beloved mods who ever says mods are not a great part of a game they are obviously blind as steveie wonder.

Arcade owns fighting games and sports games ill give consoles that...

The PC has very few action hack and slash games like Ninja Gaiden/God Of War/Heavenly Sword.

And even if they do have one, it plays horribly with mouse and keyboard and you absolutely need a gamepad to play it properly(Case in point:DMC3)

I approve of this message, and would like to also add another point that is often missed...

I often notice console gamers ask when games like "DOA4, VF5, Madden, etc" will be on PC? Since their not, they think console wins in variety.

Then I ask, why is it that consoles are still home to LESS AA/AAA games than PCs? You know why? Because the PC is the superior platform and do what they do BEST. If your precious fighter is so hot then how come their aren't more of them to back it up?

So basically it's like saying I'de rather game on a platform which has a few great games and just ignore the one that has many more great ones. Too much contradiction here. Consoles provide needs for sure, but the PC remains the undisputed king with numbers to back it up.

Yup PC basically has plenty of every genre except fighter, and I would rather keep it that way, they work better on consoles. But other than that there is lots of everything.

yeah the PC absolutely owns FPS?? please halo 3 was the biggest opening entertainment related thing in the history of America but yet PC owns FPS. at least dont use a word as big as owns. easily the 3 best FPS so far this gen is Resistance, Gears and Halo and as of right now none are on PC even though Gears comes out in NOV.

what the PC does own is RTS and MMO.

over the last 12 months they have 0 AA and 0 AAA action adventure games, over the 12 months they have 0 fighting games, and if you like sports games then consoles are way better, racing games are also better on consoles, and consoles get more RPGs, PC has had 1 platformer an A game over the last 12 months. plus console gaming is way bigger and the PC is coming otu with less and less quality games all the time.

PS3 has beaten the PC in games over the last year which is PS3s whole life. 0 AAA exclusives if you dont count expansion packs for the PC. and like more than half of their AAs are RTS games.

I have my PC for internet and emails and I have my consoles for gaming.

I am not going to sit playing games on my PC in my office when I have a perfectly good HDTV sitting in the lounge I can use.

And I am not going to lug my PC around the house all the time when I can just switch on my PS3/360/Wii and start playing or wander into my office and switch on my PC to do some work when I have to.

and assassins creed will be better on consoles. thats why the PC isnt getting it TBA until 08.

oohh crysis who cares probably a high AA or low AAA shooter. PS360 owners like me have already had Gears of War, Halo 3 and Resistance the last 12 months way better than the PC but yet he says PC owns good shooters.and ifcrysis is really good they will port it to the 360 like they did far cry so they can make real money selling to consoles where everybody is at besides lonley hermits.

Whose PC? Your PC? This is the part of the argument most PC fans seem to disregard. News flash: PC is an open platform and how well the game looks, runs and controls depends on the configuration of the system, so you can't talk about it in generalized terms. If I buy a 360 game, it is going to run the exact same on my 360 and my friends 360, even if mine is Premium and his is Elite. I don't have to worry about performance, the game runs playable and looks great. The only PC games I care about any more are MMOs and Spore.

console games own the PC in fighting games, sports games, racing games, action games like NG, POP, GOW, and HS, just in action adventure the consoles get all the tight exclusives.

if PC is so great why dont they ever get the games that are considered the best of all time. no PC games are even mentioned with Zelda, FF, SC and what not. there are way more cant miss exclusives for consoles dude.

Wireless controler? Pc has that too.. Keyboard mouse is great for shooters and other thigns such as RTS's.. The Wii mote is great no doubt about it I own one, but there are certain things about it that are a minus.. Bioshock looked ALOT better on the pc and it did not require a $3000 pc to run it.. I ran it on a pc less then $1000... The pc is not expensive if you spend wisely.. It awfully seems like half the times when I see people trying to bash pcs its usually a person that is either a 10 year old or who has a 10 year old mentality.. Who can't research for the life of them or be patient in their purchases, and need to spend a single package, a la console.. Not saying consoles are bad, but the ignorant statements is sickening.

what your saying consoles arent better for sports games? madden got like a 6.5 on PC while it got an 8.5 on the consoles and look at fast action paced games like DMC and MG for PS they dont get the games like that they got one DMC as a late port with a way lower rating, and then look at games like NG, GOW and HS they just dont have the games. you guys didnt even get a basketball game right. consoles own racing as well with Forza 2 and GT5 coming soon.

thats why they make slow paced games for PC. thats why PC owns the boring genre like RTS and no you dont own FPS not with 360 getting games like Gears of War and Halo 3 over a 1year span.

RTS is not a boring genre, I'm sorry if it appeals to people with actual attention spans.

Gears of War isnt an FPS and its better on the PC anyway, Halo 3 is just 1 game, Wherse your Quake Wars / UT3 / Crysis / Far Cry 2 ... oh .. the 2 of them you are getting is delayed to high heaven, and your orange box is inferior by every meaning of the word, especially Team Fortress 2 , which is an amazing experiance.

Fail the PC has had the most amount of GOTY's over the entire spectrum, and they have gotten the most AAA, AA exclusives as wella s multiplats out there.. Yet again not saying computer is the best I just find this kind of statemetns vastly ignorant.
