Assumptions aside your argument is awful. You tried to point out that PS3 has mainly sequels this year but the only new IP lems can look forward to is Kingdoms, MS have stuck with Halo, Gears and Forza throughout (that's why 6 out of the 9 360 AAAEs are from those series) and they'll continue to do so, only Gears is over after this year and Halo will be worse without Bungie. 360 is the console with a lack of variety. Gears 3 will score AAAE and there's probably at least 4-5 AAAE games coming out for PS3, sales are irrelevant.

I still don't understand what's wrong with being in last place. 360 is in second place but i'm not stressed that its not beating the Wii in sales. It's not bothering me and hindering my enjoyment of the games. Why can't cows do the same. What is it that they have to beat the 360. Can someone explain this to me.

I don't understand why SW has this snobbish attitude towards anything it isn't fond of. I'm not a 360 owner and I don't have any intention if getting Kinect but if people are enjoying it and the titles are scoring fairly well why is it necessary for people to be jerks about it?

Because the PS2 beat the original Xbox in hardware sales. And in software sales. It also had a better gaming library.

It is the complete opposite today, so of course they are mad.

Star Wars has potential to be very good... but... that's... just potential behind the concept of using Kinect for it. Actual application might end up... badly.

I never really saw why cows were so hated in SW until this past year where everyday there's a stupid thread talking about how the 360 doesn't have any games and Kinect will be the end of MS. Not to mention at all the outrage over every ps3 exclusive that didnt score a 9. The ps3 is much better now compared to 3 years ago but the PS dominance is long gone and in its place is a great rivalry between the Big 3 that as a whole, has benefited all console gamers.

I do have faith Kinect will deliver a few good games because its stupid to think that it won't. Every system delivers atleast a few good games. As for announced titles they aren't on my radar because they aren't big enough to get talked about around here and I don't have a 360 like I said. As for titles that interest the gamer around here there won't be much but since when did gaming, quality and good titles revolve around what gaming forums think?

Although both systems are good imo,I have had the most fun and enjoyment from the the PS3. I really dont care about the fanboy wars and all that other bs. Im confident in my purchase and just want to play some good games,which the PS3 has provided me. I will get a 360 later this year though because I really want to play Alan Wake,Gears of War,etc... I guess my response to this thread wont be what most people want to hear though. So just for them Im gona say the 360 sucks and PS3 rules!!!:P

Good thing I don't give a **** about sales and am more concerned about a nice variety of games. And this is not why I don't not own a 360 (I also don't hate pieces of plastic), I don't own a 360 because Xbox Live is extortion

That doesn't mean they aren't good titles. I don't see why that is such a difficult concpet for people to grasp. Just because something doesn't appeal to you specifically, it doesn't mean they are worthless and not worth acknowledging. As someone who is a fan of the Wii I feel pretty strongly about the idea that people need to get the hell off their high horses and understand that the world doesn't revolve around your tastes. I also don't care whether people want hardcore experiences because a hardcore experience is not the same thing as a quality piece of software worth acknowledging.

One question: let's assume Move was at least as successful than Kinect, if not more. Don't you think Sony would naturally have come up with a huge amount of Move games?

The fact that we may see only a few Move games in the short future, may be a result of the fact that Move was a terrible failure for Sony. :idea:

I know ms is usually knocked for making cheap things, but the ps3 controller was peice of junk that broke on me a year after purchase, while the 360 controller still seams new. Plus the 360 controller has batter triggers
