Why so much Wii hating? (Read First)

Yes I know I have been hating on the Wii the last few days about motion controls and online but they are the ONLY things wrong with the Wii.

ShovelWare - Is Nintendo forcing you to buy shovelware? no? then dont.

Graphics - Even when I was still a PS3 fanboy I didnt care about graphics. Anyway the Wii has great graphics like Super Mario Galaxy and Monster Hunter 3.

No Games - Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart Wii, Metroid Prime 3, No More Heroes, Mad World, Super Smash Bros Brawl, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Little King Story, Animal Crossing: City Folk, Monster Hunter 3, Punch Out, Pikmin 3, Super Mario Galaxy 2, New Super Mario Bros. Wii... Shall I go on?

So, whats not to like?

I have my dislikes about the Wii. Only reason I stay around is because we are talking about Nintendo here. Should they fail to disappoint next gen I will go elsewhere and not look back.

i love how people say they will never return to a company if they are dissapointed by something. Say they do suck next gen, but the gen after they are completely awesome and it's like the snes days again. You won't come back? Yes, yes you will. Same for any other company.

OMFG, Im not trolling :roll: I have only ever bashed the Wii for Motion Controls. So why dont you just leave?

Mainly because its not as powerful as the competetition.

Personaly I think what it lacks in strength it makes up for in games. Its a damn great console.

It's overrated in sales and some games you listed, overrated games is all opinion, overrated sales is a fact.

Once you go fanboy you never go back. =P

But the thing about the shovelware is, it is most of the library. Nobody is forcing you to buy it, but there isn't much of a choice after you get most of the good games. And you can't list games that aren't out yet, like NSMBWii and Pikmin 3, for all we know they can epicly flop.

Absolutely NONE of those games interest me at all. Plus I hate motion controls.

Ok that deserves a blue ribbon.

Just because you make one thread, trying to take back some of what you have said in previous threads, doesn't make you less a fanboy.

And there could be twice the shovelware on the system, but the great games will still be there.

The only thing bad about the Wii that's worth bashing it for is the online. Good thing I never play online. :)

But what he's getting at is that the Wii is indeed a motion control based console so if your seeking to get the most out of it, playing games with motion control is imminent. Though your right, Ive played quite a few games that require little to no motion control.

Yep your right, statements like that are just rediculous. I have a 360 with over 30 games and only 4 of them are FPS.

It has A TON OF CRAPPY GAMES. Thats what I do not like about it.

But it saves itself by having a few MUST have games. No More heroes 1 and 2 alone are worth the price of admission. lol (God that game makes me laugh so hard)

300 dollar console and not even offering HD graphics? Pass.

More than half those games involves Mario and his sore, dry teats.

It's not the casual side of Wii gaming that people hate.

It's the core side.

It's the way the the Wii disrupts the current HD gaming paradigm.

I also guess the average Wii owner is older than the average PS360 owner. Both casual gamers and core gamers. I don't know anyone my age (30's) with a PS360. I know lots of folks with gaming PC's and Wii's though in late 20's and early 30's.

And finally there is the 'chat up line' factor. 'Wanna come back to mine and play some Wii' works far better with girls than 'Wanna come back to mine and play some XBOX'.

i dont hate Wii am just not interested in the console & the majority of its exclusives... surely it has much to offer as a gaming console.
