Uh the PC has had LOTs of exposure, I mean its been out since the 80s or even earlier. The Wii came out in 06 and still hasn't gotten WiiWare as of 07.

But it is in the news all the time.. and everyone knows about it.. and it has sold almost 10 million in less than a year.. small developers don't get that kind of exposure on PC because you have to know about hardcore gaming to find them. Nintendo is giving independant games their own channel.

Can you listen to yourself? But the Wii is in the news ALL THE TIME. Oh whoopedoo! I guess when I tune into my local news I'll see the Nintendo Wii right now. There are more developers on PC then the console industry.

That's nice, but Metroid is a quality series if there ever was one, ever since the SNES.

Better because of pointing control. Wii has that, and also, read what he said. It's an RTS-TPS combo. You can select a certain unit and control it yourself in TPS style.

It's a DS port... I think I like how it plays on the DS better. It got marked down for a number of things.

• Doesn't last long
• Terrible single-player

Retail sales are on the rise from what.. it still did not make it to 1 billion in 2006. Console and handhelds were at like 5 billion.. not counting microtransactions and stuff.

Ok, the console outlet has what... six major sources for game sales to occur? 360, PS3, Wii, PS2, NDS, and PSP all have games to sell. But the PC has one major outlet to sell games.

It still made way less money.. and consoles are steaming ahead as more microtransactions are made and more small games are purchased..

Everything I said showed that it is.. PC gaming made 1.6 billion in 1999 with retail sales alone.. and now it is below 1 billion. Pc doesn't support independant game developers.. they just have no where else to go yet. Soon Wiiware will make them migrate to consoles..

1. Oh, really? But where are the ideas? Just because it's on the Wii doesn't mean it's innovative. Do you hear people saying the stylus-stuff inPokemon Diamondare needed and innovative? The controllers definitely do not make everything with motion-sensing innovative. Heck, they may even hurt the game and feel tacked on. This is also a problem in the PS3 with some games. Wanted to impress us? Give us the names of the innovative games instead of speaking generally.

2. You know, that's actually a bad point in most people's eyes. Others will even credit the GC's failure to that. You can't rely on first-party games too much, and the fact that they're all reused material isn't helping.

Is that how it is will all the consoles... You can do huge lists for the PS3 and Xbox 360, but your going to end up with just a few that will be good, and are intresting.

Well the line up doesn't interest me in the slightest (except for BWii and RE:UC), which is why I've turned against my Wii after being one of its biggest supporters. Glad the future library making other people happy though :)

I didn't speak generally man.. the list had a lot of innovative games.. but if you want me to I guess i will say why..

Blocks: Steven Spielberg game that is like an emergent, puzzle-basedjenga.. very interesting and new

No More Heroes: very interesting and original game from Suda51.. the guy who gave us Killer7

King Story: a game from the Hotel Dusk developer.. it is a lot like if Tropico turned into an adventure game.. very new

de Blob: a very cool new idea for games.. I have never seen anything like it

Zack & Wiki: a new take on the classic Pc genre of point and click adventure games.. looks very original

Endless Ocean: a very orignal idea.. hard to describe so go watch footage of the game

Dragon Quest Swords: a coolnew take on Dragon Quest.. makes the combat much more interesting and handson than before

Opoona: very original in every way.. especially the combat system

There is more but that should do for now.

The wii's current lineup is pretty weak. I wouldn't praise that. It may get some better titles in the future, but as for now I'm holding off a little longer. Just until MP3 and the next mario platformer come out, then I should get one.sonicare

Yeah, a lot of those video games seem to interest me, but some just seem stupid, and there is no way I am even going to consider playing them. Alien Syndrome? Heck no. It's not like I was looking forward to it, anyways, though. You also reminded me of some awesome video games to get that I forgot about, like Battlion Wars II.

Also, you forgot Wii Fit, Fire Emblem: Goddess Of Dawnand Project HAMMER. I'm not sure if the latter is still going to come out, though.

I want the following video games the most:

1. Super Mario Galaxy.

2. Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

3. Fire Emblem: Goddess Of Dawn.

Those three will tie me over for some time. And I didn't like the first Metroid Prime or the second one, but the third might change my mind. Just maybe. Game Informer said, "It's the Wii video game to get." "The" was underlined, too.

Anyways, it doesn't really matter if other people think the line-up is crappy, because there will always be people like that. They are more interested in XBox 360's or PlayStation 3's line-up, so they chose that console. That's fine with me, but if you are just going to say, "Wii has the best line-up?" and laugh, then I think you need to realize that everyone thinks differently, and not everyone is going to concur with one another.

I just want Resident Evil 5, though. Darn it!
