PC gives you this. 360 is far and away the least attractive option for multi-console owners, especially with Xbox LIVE fees.psn8214PC doesn't give you that for $200. Especially if you want something more than just a gaming rig and are starting from scratch. It is the reason why I still don't have a competent gaming PC.

Furtheremore i'm only defending sony from their 'hacker debacle' because everyone is bashing sony without saying a word about the hackers, which is sad really. The arguments used to bash sony are completly irrational in 99% of the cases.
The games, you get the superior version of most multiplats on top of a list of solid exclusives. The backwards compatibility, lots of Xbox games actually work on it, unlike the new PS3's which don't support any PS2 games. The online, it isn't being hacked and shut down, and offers a much more stable service (my experiences with it, there have been no moments of lag at any points, but I hear nothing but woes of lag on PSN). The XBLA, it offers so many fantastic games that put PSN and WiiWare to absolute shame (Shadow Complex for instance). It isn't the best console out there, but it is a solid experience for anyone looking for something worthwhile.

What? I own a 360, and I'd call the backwards compatibility average at best. It does emulate a lot of games, but I've encountered enough errors here and there to obstain from calling it perfect. You forget that ALL models of the ps3 play ALL psx games, and some play ps2 games as well. I own a slim ps3, as I mainly played xbox earlier this gen, but I've heard that some ps3s playback all ps2 content, while some models have problems--similar to the xbox emulation.
The psn hack point is null, imo. Sure it is unfortunate, but it really could happen to anyone. The lag point is bs as well. I've never experienced problems with either, really.
I will say that xbla does have some exclusives that are great(btw, my rrod 360 magically started working again). Some of these games are better than full retail priced games. You mention Shadow Complex, and I agree with you 100%. The game is great. I haven't finished it, so i don't have a fully fleshed opinion on it, but I also think it is a little sad that my most memorable xbox game--after reach--was an xbla title. I don't understand how people can deny the 360s lack of games as of late, and in the future. I really do think MS is going to release a console sooner than expected.

Year after year sony reports losses in the millions yet sony fanboy continue to say that the console is #1. Kinect is killing both the wii and the move, sony's me too attitude towards motion gaming is a bust, collecting dust just like my wii. In orderfor me to play with my kidsI have to buy how many remote$ versus buying the kinect and thats all I would need for everyone to enjoy the experience. Lets face it the masses have spoken the 360 is just better. Now once sony drops that price maybe they will be back in the game, cause there really is no difference in the two systems I have yet to see something done on one console that couldn't be done on the other. To my knowledge, the consoles are almost neck and neck, no? Not that it matters that much, really. What matters is that MS had a one year head start and Sony is obviously catching up. As we approach the biggest gaming show with E3, Sony only continues to build up steam. I own a 360, and if it was the only console I did own, I'd be pretty upset looking at the games on the horizon.
What also puts MS in a tricky situation is Nintendos next console. If it uses blu ray, or some other bigger storage medium, the ps3 will still be able to recieve ports of next gen games. For this reason I see MS releasing their new console sooner rather than later.
