Wii blows away other 2 Next Gen consoles!

I guess I'm just saying this all because I've grown extremely tired of the Xbox's typical games. And how long it would take for my favorite type genre of games to release, mostly RPG and Action games. (Oblivion...Mass Effect... Lost Odysey. That was all I really liked, NOT that many games if you'd ask me... after THREE years!) Yes Xbox does have alot of these games but alot of them arn't all that great. Plus I've grown up on Nintendo so I guess it's nice playing games like Mario, Donkey Kong, and Metroid again.

And most importantly this is only my opinion. Some of its truth some opinion. So yeah... Flame away!

It's easy to be enthusiastic about a console you just purchased. Totally understandable. You're in the honeymoon phase, so you're making googly eyes at your new love.

But that novelty will wear off. The good, more substantial games are few and far between, Mario Galaxy being one of them.

Personally, I like the 360's focus, not only on graphics, but on community. Wii is about pandering to the casual and non-gamer.

Same here. Listen, it is a great system no doubt. But in about a month or two you'll find yourself playing more and more 360. I think it's because the wii has AWFUL online.

But yes, enjoy, it is a great little thing! Try SSBB, I still play it.

But yeah, don't be surprised if yo find it collecting dust a few months down the road. But congrats!!

I don't get it. Playing a console makes it not collect dust? My Wii has been used EVERY DAY since I got it last year. It still get dusts, because I never touch it with my hands, I use the remote to turn it on.

I play it more than the 360 though. I'm usually playing DS the most these days.

All three systems are finally beginning to hit their strides, obviously the 360 having hit its stride some time ago. I am really beginning to enjoy the Wii as well. Rented Boom Blox yesterday and WOW talk about addicting! Throw in some Wiiware and the VC, WOW!!! The Wii is picking up steam!!!

Ok I'll restate the point that I was trying to get across. Xbox 360 and PS3's games I think are similar besides a few exclusives each one has right?And Wii sets itself FAR away from those 2 consoles for obvious reasons. The Wii remote, games, and its Virtual Console etc. I don't think the Xbox 360 and PS3 are BAD.

Bioshock is also quite overrated and the reviews of Jericho are pissing me off. I wonder if the reviewers even dare taking the game out of the box!

I use the Wii when I have company over and there's nothing good on TV. I use my PS3 & 360 when I want to have an awesome, immersive gaming experience. They aren't in the same ballpark. The Wii is a grocery-getter, and the PS3/360 are Exotic Sportscars.. Sure, they're all cars, but you'd be mistaken to compare them.

in this guys case ignorace in NOT bliss. you obviously haven'y played them all. they say there is no such thing as a bad taste in games but you've managed it! Jerico was crap. REALLY crap. the best analergy ive heard about the game was "spunk flavoured lolly-pop".

Call of Duty 4 was exactly the same as COD1,2,3... Bioshock story was... ok I presume, but the plot is exactly the same as Baten Kaitos, so I done that and seen that way before.

As for Crysis, it was quite good... until I forgot to take the TAC cannon... HOW COULD THIS EVEN HAPPENS IN A VIDEO GAME LIKE THAT!? (TAC cannon needed to kill the last boss)

As for The Orange Box, it was quite good, but by far not in the top 10 best game of all time... I've played through RE4 over 6 times and it deserve to be there, but Orange Box.... please... I am a die hard fan of CS, so HL2 need to be in the top 10, but not Orange Box.

I don't listen to reviewers anymore, they don't know how to review a game anymore. Haze getting a 5 in graphics? Yeah... sure... the game could be crap, but using this to lower the overall score is stupid.

Halo has a great single-player (well at least CE did) and is not just death-match. stop acting like your all old and wise becuase even people who have been gaming for like ever (like me) know that those games are greats, you can't just say 'i did it all lat gen' because then you would be bored of everything. you are ever so out of touch.thegoldenpoo

Halo only became a bit genric after Halo:CE be3casue of the fact they were sequels, and generic games can be good you know. Ive completed Halo 3's story line 3 times, once on Normal then Heroic then on Legendary and had fun every time. I also still play the online to this date and it's honestly the best online game ive ever played.
