Why do some individuals think that Wii Fit is a workout device and that's it? Miyamoto has went on to say that it won't do any good, pretty much. Wii Fit has actual games included on the disk, ya know? Like those ski games we used to play as kids at the arcade. I like casual mini-games. I know many users here hate them, but I am part of the minority. It's not a workout device and it won't make you fit, but it will provide some enjoyment if you can open up to its casual nature.
Casuals will think it gets you fit. That's probably because it does get you fit. Being fit doesn't mean losing a bajillion pounds in an hour. This game gets you fit by improving flexibility, posture, and muscle-tone.
This is Wii-Fit, not Wii-Gym, or Wii-Cardiovascular-Workout.
There is more to being fit than just losing weight or becoming the Hulk.
So does yoga. And hey, I don't have to spend 100 dollars for that! You're right, you don't have to spend a hundred dollars. You have to spend thousands of dollars for a personal trainer that will be on call 24/7 to give you real-time tips about your posture as you're performing Yoga. Also, they would be knowledgable of other forms of exercise.
Personally, I think Wii-Fit sounds like a fun game, and the more I hear, the more I'm hyped.
