I don't think you understand quite how imperceptable these things can be. I'm almost positive that when you stand perfectly still, you probably favour one leg over the other to put your weight on. Besides, how confidant are you of your posture and balance when your folded up like a pretzel. Besides, whenever I see exercise videos, there's always the voice in the back of my head saying "It shouldn't be this hard/easy, you're doing it wrong". This isn't as good as having a personal instructor, but it's better than a video, or nothing whatsoever.

Yeah, considering I just got a 4.0 in fitness class, I don't know anything about this subject.

Look, the point is, exercise is exercise. There is no "wrong way" of exercising. As long as you're moving, you're exercising. Wii Fit is an exercise. A 100-dollar exercise. Walking is an exercise. A free exercise. Yoga, push-ups, jumping jacks, whatever you're doing in Wii Fit can be done for free by yourself. Sure having a record-keeper is fun, but is it worth 100 dollars? Not in my opinion, no.

I'm not disputing that, and all those things do burn calories, but exercises that build muscle tone, increase flexibility are not as easy without actively persuing them.

You don't sound as if you need a fitness regime... heck, I'm 6'1" and a 160 lbs, I don't need it either. The reason I want to get Wii-Fit is because it can't hurt to be more concious of your health, I've always been interested in doing exercises like Yoga, but get bored of videos because I don't find them inter-active enough, and lastly, because I feel that this game is going to be just plain fun.

Personally, I think that Wii-Fit will be more intellectually stimulating than going to the Gym. I exercise at home occassionally, but I find it dead boring. I get no satisfaction out of physical accomplishments lacking immediate reward. It's mental accomplishments that truly excite me, and I think that Wii-Fit just might be able to alleviate my boredom with exercise.

Fair enough. I can see where you're coming from. It's not changing my mind, but I'll let it slide because I'm not going to change your mind either.

If people want to exercise, why don't they just go outside?

I'm not trying to change your mind, I am just trying to show you why I feel this game has interest, and why people are willing to buy it. I understand why you're not interested in it, but when I first entered this topic, I simply saw a downright dislike of this game. Now we're both the wiser, and having gained knowledge are both mentally better armed for the future. Though really, looking back on it, I don't see why I should have even cared enough to take the argument this far, because it was clear that not only had you made your decision already, you had made it on very firm and fair grounds. I guess I just wanted this to end on a cordial note. In my belief every argument should be able to be viewed as a discussion and learning experiance by its conclusion. :)

not surprised. GS's reviews have gone downhill ever since whatever.

Boom blox = great game. GS gives it 7. Wii fit = innovation, = average 8 scores but noooooooo GS have to be arrogant and give it 7.

But if it was "GTA Wii fit with a gun" it would get a 10/10.

[QUOTE="Fireball2500"]At least the sheep hyping this AA are gone now.Erebyssial

Uh, what hype? :|

The worst of the worst sheep wanted this game to score higher. Thankfully, the number of sheep doing so are now gone, like with hermits leaving after Doom 3 got AA.
