He is right though, the Wii did have a great 2010.

I don't think it was that great, but that wasn't my point, inevery single post of mine about the Wii, he tries to start the same argument about the Wii (which he eventually loses), it's just irritating and I don't feel like aruging the same point time and time again.

2010 was a fantastic year for the Wii. And it had the best holiday(imo). I was really hoping nintendo would use their january conference to reveal some Wii plans, but it's now almost may and we have nothing. It seems the next nintendo console is aroudn the corner, but the wii deserves more of a send off. Something like the DS or PSP, who both have recieved some fantastic games despite their successors arriving now(or soon enough).

I haven't bought a Wii game this year. All I'm looking forward to is Zelda and Xenoblade and Last Story if it comes over.

I am not pleased with my Wii this year, HOWEVER I am pleased with this year anyway because of other systems ;) So far this is shaping up to be the weakest year for the Wii, shame, because I throughly enjoyed 2010 and 2009 on it. And I am amazed people are still saying the Wii has low standards, great games are great games no matter what the system.

I think I may have good news for you. Nintendo recently registered The Last Story for both Europe and America. Source is in French.

Enjoyed Lost in Shadow quite a bit, and since neither the PS3 or 360 has gotten anything I'd consider a "killer app" so far this year, I guess Wii wins 1:0 against both for me. Loving Portal 2 for PC, but I don't think there will be anything else I'll be dying to play this year.

Anyone claiming to be "hardcore" if they haven't beaten Sin & Punishment on hard mode (or worse yet, dismissed it as a bad game simply because it's on the Wii) is full of crap. The game's amazing, old-school as hell, was the final nail in the coffin for me to buy a Wii, and I certainly don't regret it.
