Have you noticed that with a lot of interviews about the Wii, developers are saying "We want to make the game easy to play, with this new controller" Read between the lines, what they are saying is that they know only kids buy the Wii, so they need to make games aimed towards kids.
Take for instance Mortal Combat on Wii. The people that buy the Wii cant pull off the super moves, so they have to dumb down the game, replacing it with 'easy to use controlls'. I dont want an easy game, I want to be challenged by it. Same with SSX, the challenge has been taken away.
Even Nintendo is dumbing down their games. RPGs are challenging, so they couldnt put that on Wii, so they removed all the RPG parts of Super Paper Mario, leaving you with a bland sidescrolling platformer that we've seen for the past 20 years. (By the way, why the hell is that game hyped AAA, sheep must be really grasping for straws.) (lol sounds like your grasping for straws. pretty damn desperatly to try and get one over on the wii)
With PS3 its different, gameplay isnt being lost through the SIXAXIS controller, its being retained. Look at GTA IV, for instance. My dad works at SOnyHAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHHAA) so I get early builds of games(right. so your dad gets you games that havent been played by ANYONE in the public?)
, and I have a short demo of GTA IV, and believe me its very challenging. But if this was on the Wii, not only would all the violence have to be toned down, but so would the challenge, because sheep cant handle hard games. I've played Zelda OoT, I completed it in like an hour it was so easy. LOL Ocarina of Time is FAR from easy. my friend has owned and completed every zelda. OoT is his favourite game of all time, he's finished it 20+ times. it STILL takes him 20 hours to complete. it takes 1 hour just to get past the opening scene in the Deku tree.Â
If you all want your games to be a walk through the park, buy a Wii, but I'll stcik with challenging games like GTA IV
i havent been challenged by a GTA game. there has never been a part where im *stuck*. there are plenty of stuck points in zelda. but thats because the game requires you to overcome puzzles etc. GTA-" go kill that pimp" *steals car. Runs over Pimp. Game over*Â
