Edit: The best part is though, one of those games are coming this August. Less waiting for me, more gaming while I wait for other games.

Obviously sheep are going to defend it when fanboys constantly make fun of the system, anyone whos anyone knows its more powerful than whats been coming out for the system. Look at SMG for example, or Metroid. Both games show how the wii games can be graphically and control wise. Obviously the graphics wont be Xbox360/PS3 level, but you cant deny that SMG looks good, just like you cant deny that RE5 looks great as well.

judging buy the number of people on SW that have played the HS demo, it disapoints. Sad, because i was anticipating it. Anyway, PS3 only games that look promising that are coming out this year areuncharted, and um.. lair (looks boring to me imo, graphically looks amazing), R&C, and haze..

2008 > 2007 for the PS3 imo.

Hehehe, the hype on those games is about the equivalent of the hype on battlaion wars 2, trauma cetner: new blood, zach and wiki. I'm using the games cows bring to the table, not the games cows shun and only bring up when they need a large sounding game library.

If you look at SM:G it shows that the console can do good enough graphics to keep you visually happy. Not ''wow'' you but keep you happy and that's what's the Wii is about good old Nintendo games wich look a litle bit more shiney with fun new gameplay, and also shamely it's also about extreemly casual rubbish like Wii sports and Wii fit and some games that are really really cheap.

The Wii isn't supposed to be a powerhouse of graphic's. So I expect nothing graphically greath about it. Just fun games with a litle bit updated graphics. So that does not reassure me other developers will spend the same amount of time and money on their games as much as Nintendo did. Can you imagine EA or Ubisoft putting in the amount of work Nintendo did? I am not interested in potential, I am interested in reality. And judging by the Wii's barely passable power, it will make it harder for devs to make great looking games. They do not have Nintendo's money to take 2-3 years on a game like Super Mario Galaxy. So if they don't have those 2-3 years, they won't produce games on the level of Super Mario Galaxy graphically. It will be like RE4 for Gamecube. One good example of graphics, but no one else came up to the plate. Could Super Mario Galaxy represent another lonely example of that?

Great games take work, ninja gaiden and gta arn't made in a ocouple of days, like these crappy ass ps2 ports are. UBI and EA don't put a good ammount of work into ANY console. Have you seen EA's sports line up this year? most of it actually looks WORSE than last year.

nah im already in great shape (college ball), how about you? anyways i will be enjoying MP3, Mario Galaxy, No More Heroes,and SMBM soon, and hopefully in the near future ZeldaWii and Kid Icarus.

plus some of the classics on the VC. i just got Punch Out, Castlevania, etc...and waiting for Mario Bros 3, Super Metroid, and Contra.

Did any of you actually read the article? Games like Alien Syndrome do not push the Wii's graphical power (its a PSP game with Wii controls). It is not about what you have seen so far from the Wii but the potential that the Wii has that Third Parties are not using.

You Xbox360 and PS3 fanboys seem to forget that the Gamecube was about on par with the Xbox1 in terms of graphics. Look at Rebel Strike and Resident Evil 4, they looked just as good as any of the best looking Xbox games. You're telling me that the Wii will not be able to look better than Xbox1 in the future? The Wii has a different architecture from any other system, to make games look awesome on the Wii developers need to go about their business in a different way from how they did with Xbox1. Otherwise they won't get results. Its not hard to do, its just different -like a Mac compared to a Dell. Good developers who know how the Wii works with its Texture Environment Unit(TEV) will see that the Wii has much more potential than the Xbox1. Also, the Wii's Power PC CPU destroys the Pentium 3 in the Xbox....its not even close.

Another point of the article is the quote from the CEO of Factor 5 who knows the Wii has a ton of potential just from seeing what they did with Rebel Strike, and that game is 4 years old now.

Even if they were both played at 480p Kameo looks much better, bump that up to 720p on Kameo and they are worlds apart. The greatest weakness of last gen consoles was their lack of proper HDTV support and it's also one of the Wii's greatest weakness.
