[QUOTE="Coyo7e"][QUOTE="mdisen"][QUOTE="Coyo7e"] It is not a question of bad or good but will the series expand on the basic things that made it great, or just become another zombie shooter. Forcing me to wait for someone else to tackle the vision of movies like "Dawn of the Dead" for video games.
I don't want to see Dead Rising go where the Wii is taking it. Trust me, I hope I am dead wrong, I truly do. But in the same week I find out about Dead Rising 2 which I was worried would never happen I find out about this port to the only system that will be a downgrade. I would have killed for a ps3 or 360 port, but the Wii?
A bitter sweet week.

Then really the only problem here is your expectations. I don't think anyone really expects the Wii version to be the "next step" or some kind of evolution of the series. This is a spinoff in every sense of the word. It has no impact on Dead Rising for the Xbox360, it has no impact on the sequel, but it looks like fun none the less.
Well, I can see where you are coming from, can you see where some fans of the game like me are coming from? Why we are worried it will have an impact on the next Dead Rising? How we don't like where the game is heading on the Wii?
I don't want to see the game I love compromised to appeal to a larger audience, not even for a port.
As a serious fan of Dead Rising (One who went out of his way for 970GS), I am very curious to see what will happen on the Wii version of the game with additional content. If it does good, I definately pick it up. Capcom has a good track record on the Wii.
I can't imagine buying this game, all we as gamers can do is vote with our dollars. I only hang on to the Wii for Fatal Frame 4.
