Weak? Gunstar Heroes + TLoZ:LTTP + OoT + SMB + SMW + SM64 + Contra 3 + Toejam & Earl + SimCity =/= weak.

Dude get into reality here. Most of us gamers have played the crap out of Mario, why dish out even more $ for the games AGAIN!?!?

Yup and the Mario games have no extra features like online.

What good would online do for Super Mario 64? Seriously? You're just saying that so you can have something negative to say about the Wii.

actually super smash online is quite fun...

Wait, they have it so you can play SSB online? How?

people using that particular emulator can make a server and other people using the same emulator and rom can join the server and play eachother. ive also played street fighter online xD

I do. Except I do it for the rarer games that won't come to the Virtual Console any time soon. Think Axelay will come to the VC any time soon? How about Turn & Burn: No Fly Zone? Or Operation Europe: Path to Victory? Or Zero Wing? I don't think so. That's what I have an emulator for. Plus, I have GameTap, which gives me access to a lot of Genesis games for free. Only Genesis game I downloaded was Gunstar, and that's because co-op is AWESOME.

also imported games :P i have the japanese neon genesis game for n64 for my emulator :D

What do you do for controls for a N64 controller? I can't stand the keyboard, and I tried using an Xbox Controller S, but it just doesn't work... I ask because I've because I've been wanting to try Sin & Punishment.

z x a s q w on the keyboard it gets really annoying at first but ive gotten used to it :P i wanted to get a controller to see if it worked but oh well :\

Well that;s one thing that the VC is good for. I don't download games I previously owned, I didn't dl Ocarina of Time, I dled fun party games and games I've never played. Like Bomberman, and Kid Icarus. Everyone always says that it's useless because they don't want to pay for games they already own...but then don't buy those, I haven't played every game in the world, and I dl the ones I havent played, like Kid Icarus.
Me and my friends hang out and play bomberman all the time, It's 5 players also, so that's awsome. This thread was supposed to be about the Wii's price, and I think it's fair.

I think nintendo sees it like this. At the price it is now, they can make a healthy profit and still sell loads. dropping the price point, whilst it would get a few sales, probably would mean less money for them. And they'll never sell it at a loss, thats for sure. it's selling well at $250 with no signs of slowing, so what would be the point?

I think nintendo sees it like this. At the price it is now, they can make a healthy profit and still sell loads. dropping the price point, whilst it would get a few sales, probably would mean less money for them. Why lower the price if it's contantly sold out also? I agree with you.
If Nintendo really wanted to stick it to M$ and Sony, they would lower the price by 50-100 now that they see that it's selling very well. But for now, why lower the price.

The 360 should be $200 for using cheap parts and the PS3 should be $250 for having no games at all.Zhengi

yeah its the cheapest but at the same time the most over priced as in they make the most money out of the 3 for every console they sell

Plus if they lowered it's price this early in it's console life all the people looking to buy the system will realize how low-tech it's hardware really is. i mean come on it's $50 less than the 360 which is one powerful console. While the Wii is a slightly upgraded Gamecube, Which by no means is really a bad thing if you weren't spending $250. Heck even $200 sounds more realistic.
