there is no argument for wii other than it has sold a lot... and if you actually bought one, and you're a serious gamer, then you're really missing out on the real gaming that is out there right now... not that there's too much of it anywhere really... but if one of the three consoles is so far at the bottom end of abysmal in terms of its value to a gamer then its clearly the wii... because even publications that have to maintain an air of neutrality are bashing the wii and its future lineup...

even if the ps3 and the 360 have precious little good on them right now... they're still miles ahead of wii... and at least they have games coming out that will be respected and are at the modern forefront of gaming. Monster lab? A game possible on the pc years ago... king story is another game that we've seen incarnations of before (with shockingly poor graphics)... I mean all these games have much less funding going into them do you know why? Cos its last gen hardware and they market their games at children. Everything is just a last gen experience, and you payed a premium for it... shame on you to try and convince others to follow you down the hole of crappy gaming.

Its dominating sales wise over every other console. It has the most exclusive titles. More innovative then any other console.

As for bad online service. Xbox had superior online service compared to the PS2. And look how that turned out.

I think we will slowly start seeing more support from developers this year.

Wii-Fit and Super Mash Bros Brawl will move more systems then any other software combined.

PS3 and 360 are just battling for the 2nd place. Kinda sad :lol:

the wii came out in november of 2006. MP3 launched in august of 2007. looks like within a year to me.

Anyway the wii library will never be as good as the ps2 skaangonultas

now, lets get something straight here. i agree with you in that sense. the ps2 was an amazing console and i didnt say anything bad about it. we were just discussing AAA titles within the first year. the ps2 picked up major steam in its 2nd and 3rd years and came out with some of the most amazing games.

the wii doesnt look like it will be able to mirror that, but what can? im not sure if there will ever be such a successful console (game wise) as the ps2

GH3 and rock band and the like can be played by family sure.

I am talking about the target demographic for the systems. Ps3 and 360 go for the 20 something 30 something male audience with the majority of their games. I do not think the Wii targets that audience. They throw them a few scraps every now and then, just like the others throw the family a few scraps.

Nintendo is not a gamers developer.

They play fan service to their die hard fans but, the online set up alone tells you what they think about the 20 and 30 something crowd that still plays games.

I think Mario is a total hack and zelda is a vacuous husk of a hero.

They play fan service to you, but nothing about these games is great IMO.
