Wii U $50 price drop effective Sept. 20th

Well looks like Nintendo finally realized the price was wrong lol. Should help the sales. This is for the Deluxe version, it will be $299.99 while the basic version is being phased out.

Also Zelda WW will be available Sept 20th for those willing to get the digital version. Physical copy will come out on October 4th. 

Smart move.

I think they need to drop it $50 more and at a bigger Hard Drive and they should be good.

Should help increase sales. Deluxe wiiU would sell much more if it were $250. A console that does a lot less than the PS4 and ONE should be priced accordingly YoshiYogurt

Not enough. Even at $100 difference, the PS4 is a far better deal. Even if you don't buy a game day 1 with the PS4 you can still play a bunch of F2P games.

WW:HD will also be available digitally on 20 Sep and bundled (digitally) with new Deluxe' apparantly, which is pretty sweet.  Physical version still comes out 4 Oct.

right now GameStop is selling the Deluxe Wii U for $349.99, but there's a 32GB model for $299.99, and a 8GB model sells for $279.99 so does everything get a $50 drop, because if so you could just get a 32GB model for $250, not that I care for NintendoLand on the Deluxe, and I don't care about that 10% points back on digital purchases since I would avoid Wii U digital purchases like the plague since Nintendo has the worse digital rights setup imaginablelamprey263

I didn't know that the Zelda Wii U version would get a digital copy of Hyrule Historia. That's pretty cool. Is that bundle going for $350?

Anywya, I think $300 sounds about right for the Wii U. Especially when the PS4 is priced at $400.
