Still getting a ps4, there will be a drought for the wiiu, no question about it. The true next gen however, has so much coming. Witcher 3/destiny> anything on wiiu
Forza 5 joins the party with a 9. Xbox One might be a buy if you enjoy racing games. I'll still stick with a Wii U, though. I enjoy platformers way too much.
1 game and all of sudden the console is worth getting it's the only game they have on the system the actually worth buying it for. We have to wait 4 months or more for the other heavy hitters to come out.

Congrats to Nintendo EAD, seems like another awesome 3D Mario, I've been very reticent about it's look and design but I should have had more faith. The WiiU's first genuine system seller I think.

Yeah that sounds about right, I usually want 8 to 10 good games with 2 to 3 awesome system sellers before I buy a console. Next Christmas will be WiiU time for me I reckon, Mario, Bayonetta 2 and X being my system seller games.

Yeh I would probably get about 3 maybe 4 games for it but the design just does not seem to suit the way I like to play games. I want a control pad in hand and just want to play it by looking at the TV.
Also the price is a bit steep for someone like me because there is a £299 deal in the UK featuring Mario World 3D,Mario Bros Wii U and Super Luigi U and I would probably get 3 maybe 4 of the games next year but the design just does not do it for me. If the joypad was different I'd probably go for it over a PS4.

Only thing is that Zelda WW is the only good game there and i have played it far back and finished it already
All those combined are still nto even close to a reason to get a WiiU with the crappy hardware at an outrageous price
If it was 150$ i would get it for Zelda WW remake though, even though it is not ecxlusive at all

At what point does a drought not matter because there are so many games already out for the system that are worth playing to make up for a future drought. You also have DK coming out early next year.
Seem nintendo are still best level designer. I want to see their design of new open world IP however. They have master designing individual level for years.
My wife and I decided to get our sons a WiiU for Christmas this year. So far we picked up the starter bundle for Skylanders Swap Force for $37!!! Right now it is on sale at Walmart on a pre-black Friday sale for MORE than half off normal price :) Just for those that didn't know.
I called it... and I was right like always. Nintendo is starting to pick up a LOT of steam right around the time the PS4 and X1 start getting into the market. It's a gift..
I have the option to get 20% off a PS4 and 2 year free warranty and to secure one for release UK. (joys of working in retail....) ..... but damn it has no games, so tempted by the Wii-U's zelda or mario bundle... but damn will it have enough games to warrant the £250 ...
Will get a PS4 later ... dunno.
Maybe I should get the PS4, sell it on ebay then buy a Wii-U and then a PS4 when they are back in stock.
DECISIONS. its hard atm. problem is when ive beat mario and zelda... what then? not a fan of "modern mario kart" ... love smash bros. but will be ANNOYED if the online sucks AGAIN.
