This shouldn't be making consumers who already bought it sad, just angry. At least it doesn't appear like nintendo had any hand in this, looks like the retailers doing.
If nintendo drops the wii-us price in the next year I'm never buying another one of their systems in the launch window ever again.....

Thats a strong take Coolyfett thinks. Coolyfett thinks Nintendo should just keep catering to their main audience, casuals, women and children. Coolyfett never really understood why Nintendo systems are even compared to what Microsoft and Sony produce. Coolyfetts last Nintendo system was the NES in 1988. Never again.
That would be accurate pricing if Nintendo itself did it. Sadly, the best official price cut we are likely to get is $199/$249 later this year when they bother releasing actual games for it.
lol mighty n64? moderate at best and wiiu will beat its sales you watch , if ps3 was able to sell 70 million the wiiu will easily do it as it does not cost 600 dollars it just needs games price cuts only do so much
Tempting, but i'm still burn't after the Wii. I know this will be temporary and it's a hot deal while you can get it. But the 1st party Wii games didn't appeal to me and by the time the Wii U picks up momentum, the other next gen consoles will be out.
Think i'll wait to see how the console turns out before I risk getting a 3rd Nintendo console which collects dust.
After the GC and the Wii, i'd be a complete fool to rush into buying another Nintendo home console.
I have a 360 and by the time the Wii U gets anything I want, i'll officially cost under £200.
