Sales:xbox 360- 10.3 million (been out for about 2 years), Ps3-3.61mill (about 8 months), Wii -8.85mill (about 8 months)

Now those are the average sales since this console madness started. said angelreborn8. 360 has been out for almost 2 years and the wii for about 8 months and the Wii is already catching up to the 360 in due time the wii will be #1. There is no need for me to even argue about ps3 because just look at their sales xD. said angelreborn8

Manufacturing:for the ps3 it took about $800 (estimate), Xbox 360 about $375 (estimate), and the Wii $150 (estimate)Now, said angelreborn8. The ps3 it takes so much money to make but so much more time to sell. thats why it will fail. The xBox 360 is made with an average budget but as you all know and if you dont know the 360 is known to break down ( those of you who are saying "yea but my 360 is still alive" talk to me in a year buddy and i bet it will be dead). Now the wii. The wii is the most cheaply made right? then why does it last long than the Xbox360? Because the Wii is more reliable. Cheaper the better? said angelreborn8.

Game-Play:

now the Game-play. Hold Ur pants I'm not talking about games its about Controllers. Ps3 and Xbox360 both have the simple controller, you hold,you sit, you mash buttons, you gain weight. For the Wii you can have a party with the control. Must i say more?

I never said they wouldn't be fun standing up, I asked why would I want to? You asked me if I'm sure I had fun playing them while sitting? Of course I had fun, the Wii doesn't require you to stand to enjoy it's games.

The Wii's hardware lacks beyond that of it's GPU. Processing in general is behind the Xbox 360/PS3/PC.

So no graphics aren't everything, and I think the Wii's graphics are more than playable (some look great MP3 and SSBB), but then again the Wii isn't lacking in just graphics.

What's more important to you? Would you consider having a web browser on a console more important than a nice selection of online games or the other way around?

To me, neither because web browsing on a console is limited in functions and I don't really play online games.

It's not really a subjective thing, it's factual. PC can output to a TV. And PC already have the ability to play flash games. It's not about seeing in these two cases, more about it is like this already.

I can think of a couple instances where it would be useful, but I'll wait to see if you can support your point of view. Just interested, kind of like a devil's advocate kind of thing, not personal :)

Well the majority of consoles up until this generation have been $300 or less over the life of a console. Suddenly this generation bears witness to not only a $400 launch of the Xbox 360 (with a worthless core edition), but also a $600 PS3 launch, double that of the majority of all previous consoles.

That's a huge growth, and I don't really think it's positive for the market (imho).

The Wii has a huge advantage in this aspect, and it's sales should I would hope show the other two companies that there's some what of a limit.
