the gamecube never had any problems like this neither does the ps3. the 360 is the most unreliable console in history. there no way around this the 360 is simply unreliable

their starting to realise games for the wii with online play. look at Pokemon battle revolution. thought its not great its a step in the right direction.

Well actually, Pokemon Battle Revolution came out in Japan with online play and that was a couple of months ago. :P But yes, it's a step in the right direction. It just needs to be bigger.

the ps2 problems were not as as widespread as the 360 ones. plus everysingle 360 out right now is gonna break on you.

they wonrt be able to play to download anything of live and they probably wont be able to play online also a flash drive is noting compared to a hard drived it wont be nearly enough space and the almost all games for 360 are online so you need a hard drvie to play online l0l.

also some games like oblivion use the hardrive so people who are do not have the harddrive are going to get much longer loading times

you know what else is funny? R6V is also for 360 and so is oblivion. which are the highest ranked games for ps3. no exclusives? well wii has wario ware and twilight princessboth exclusive for nintendo

I don't know how many cores were sold so I'm unable to make an estimate but if you know that a PC requires a hard drive or some other storage device to save anything, you'd probably be able to figure out for yourself that the 360 requires some sort of storage device such as a flash drive as I stated before.

You underestimate the stupidity of some people today young one.

Judging from that, there are two possibilities: Either you don't own a 360 or you've never connected yours to the Internet.

You also don't seem to know how big even 2 GB of storage memory is for a console compared to a computer

I understand that you are pro wii but dont insult the 360 it has alot of good games to play I have one and I am satified with what i have gotten no red rings so mine is fine if it breaks ill take it back to the store and swap it out for a new one not hard at all.

I also question microsoft for the usless core version it is a ripoff even the cnet editors who reveiwed it agreed its a ripoff.

A few parting words before I go to sleep:

Under very specific circumstances, there is actually a reason for the core version to exist.

If I were under a pretty tight budget and I wanted a 360 but didn't really care about online and had some sort of external storage device (even 512 MB will do), there is some appeal.

However, as I said, the circumstances are specific and doesn't really have much of an audience to appeal to and in that sense, it is useless.

You don't have to, you can still use Opera. I don't care for worthless features like browsing the web with a console. It lacks all the proper abilites that make surfing something worth doing.

the point angelreborn8 is making is that the wii has a web browser unlike the useless 360 ( which all of them will break sometime in thw next year or so)

Better games, much more superior graphics better Online service called XBOX LIVE....And why would anyone care about a freaking Web Browser when I have a PC, which makes for much more comfortable web browsing(With mouse and keyboard, not like a Wiimote)....The Wii is useless in many aspects starting with useless worthless game ports and ugly graphics...

PS Home was announced long before Nintendo Miis were announced so it's Nintendo the one doing the effort to copy SONY here...

lol you sheep make me laugh. you can dance and wave around the remote and look gay all you want more power to you. but i've personally played every game that could possibly be fun standing up and i got bored after 10 minutes. when your console lives off gamecube ports it doesn't make me wanna spend another $300 just so i can play them standing.

and to the original poster half of your ideas make no sense. first of all you're assuming everyone's 360 breaks which isn't true, and you are also assuming no-ones wii breaks, which is also not true. also, the wii will never catch up to the 360 in sales because once all these dumb parents figure out how bored their 7-year-olds will be playing the 2 games that are good for the next 5 years will be the sales will start to slump.
