xbox 360 was all about games.

xbox 360 did not block used games.

xbox 360 didn't require online connection.

xbox 360 didn't have kinect mandatory.

xbox 360 had top of the line specs that on PC were equivalent to like $1,500 PC.

xbox one is all about TV.

xbox one block used games as we know them.

xbox one requires online connection every 24 hours.

xbox one requires Kinect to be connected at all times and is always on even when the consoles is off.

Nope. The gen ended when the Wii U came out and the 360 was clearly in first at the time. Since then it has been conflicting reports on who has sold more but since Sony combines PS3 numbers with other products it is safe to say the 360 is still ahead. But the Wii won the gen. So the argument is mute. And since Sony lost market share and Microsoft gained it I am sure even Sony considers this gen a failure.timbers_WSU

Yes it does block used games as we know them,now you can sell your game to any one,that includes gamestop,a friend over the internet on Ebay you name it,on xbox ones,games are tied to your profile,so once register they can only be play by your account,so your friend can play your game as long as he is playing using your profile.

And you will be able to sell your game,but it has to be to a certified MS buyer,is the reason why the unit needs online every 24 hours,so that MS can check if you still own the game or not.

And yes the xbox one has a 7770 equivalent GPU which retails for like $100...

Cloud gaming is sh** like DF already confirmed it is damage control on MS part,and the only way to do it for some long years is like Onlive did it,they stream the game to you after been process on their servers,and we all know about latency issues and how sad Online was vs PC gaming with normal GPU.

I would like to see MS fall on their faces, tbh. They need to spend some time in the back of the bus, thinking about "How do we win back the hearts of gamers"?

Sony took a thrashing this gen, but have persisted and ending the generation on a high note. They've learned their lesson and seem to be, from what I've seen thus far, correcting past mistakes and focusing on the people who built this industry..... THE GAMERS!

This is why Sony & Nintendo are getting my $$$ this generation. MS can shove their TV experiences and Sports content up their @SS!

Funny thing about that is PS2 sold 150 in 13 year, PS3 sold around 80 mil in less than 7 years. Xbox 1 sold 24 mil in 4 years and 360 sold 77-78 mil in 8 years. Nice try though fanboy. Not to mention PS2 is the best selling home console ever and Xbox sold like ass, even the N64 sold better than it. Not a very good way to track growth. But hey, whatever makes you sleep better at night.

Can't I buy a Sony product over MS without being labeled a fanboy? I'm making my purchasing decision based on which company is focusing on me and my likes. I will support them with my $$$... Where did I ask for anything for free?

Is it ridiculous that XBOX Live costs $60 a year? Yeah, when MS only does so, because they know they can get people to pay for it. It certainly doesn't cost that much to operate, they make enough money from Ads on Live to support the service. After 8 years of XBOX LIVE... I'll give some money to PSN+ for a bit, at least they dont hold online gaming ransom for $60/year. Also... Sony actually rewards their subs. with games to play for free. MS might give you 50% a couple times a year, off a game that they can't get anyone to buy anymore... then act like they are really doing something for you.
