Actually i read an article and they looked at the 360 and the Xbone and they saw a trend of Xbox consoles Tripling there sales or more over the christmas holiday period every year

I think the Xbox will end up being the top Console in NA again but as far as the rest of the world is concerned it's probably going to be SONY land, even the UK which was Xbox land last gen.

The PS4 already has mount a 200K+ advantage this year over the xbox one in 3 months,some months are bigger than others for example Destiny month the PS4 sold double of what the XBO sold it wasn't 100k it was 250K basically over the xbox one and that game wasn't an exclusive,and MS was giving it free while sony was charging for it.

There is batman,Battlefront and probably COD blackops 3,those will sell more PS4 than xbox one just like it happen with destiny.

The PS4 already mounted a 200+K lead this 3 months and the PS4 was at a more expensive price.

The Xbox 360 killed the PS3 for years solely because of NA. Winning the NA market is important, the largest gaming market. People ignoring it doesn't make sense.

Also again, PS4 has to sell around 500K more, before October to reach where it WAS last year, and there's no way that can happen until September at the latest. This is not the year in 10 years where people will suddenly by truck loads of game consoles during the summer.

Problem is 360 had 1 year head start and was still catching up by PS3. Why? because PS3 outsold 360 yearly in worldwide. Do you thing that same can be say with Xb1 and PS4 this gen? PS4 is ahead by around 10 millions and the margin getting bigger and bigger. Even if XB1 manage to win the NA at the end, PS4 will still out sale XB1 by big margin!

PS4 announced 20 million, Xbox one was 14 million shipped in, there are not 3-4 million Xbox One's on the shelves, thus it's impossible for one to say the PS4 is 10 million ahead. It may happen before the Holidays, maybe even in September, but it won't be happening soon.

March is one month. The last month of a 100k lead was, Destiny. Unless this happens again, the rate will be similar to before march, which is lower than the rate the PS4 was outselling before.

The PS4 would be ahead by a margin or increased rate if it was as desirable as you people keep saying, yes, months add-up, but the rate of outselling is what shows the PS4 is struggling. If it wasn't struggling the PS4 would have been 1.1 million ahead by last month, but it's not.

The Xbox 360 killed the PS3 for years because of NA. NA alone was making up for PS3's WW sales for quite a few years, I'm not even adding other countries and countries it did ok in to that. The PS3 is still last, and the PS3 didn't dominate the sales lead, the real lead in sales the Xbox 360 ended up having was in NA and UK, which if you removed the sales lead, still would be ahead.

The 360 also outsold the PS3 WW 2 years, one of which is the obvious Kinect year. Where most of the sales came from, you guessed it, The U.S. subtract the U.S. Kinect would have been a minor boost and the PS3 still would have outsold the 360 that year.

June will be 100K or more for sure with the limted edition Batman console. September could very well be another 100K gap if Sony smartens up and releases that MGSV PS4 in the US. I will say by October the lead will be 1 million or more in the US again. Worldwide...LMAO.

A lot people don't think it will happen, but if PS4 drops to $299 this Fall it is game for Xbox One. Halo 5, Tomb Raider, none of that will be able to counter a $100 price drop. The Battlefront limited edition PS4 will sell more than the Destiny bundle did this upcoming November.

It is really bad planning on Microsoft's part to put so much effort in only two months. Sony was kind of got caught off guard last Fall with the Xbox fire sales, but I will be really surprised if they just conceded the US again. They will had a full year to come up with a plan.

June is not going to be 100k, it's JUNE, and also E3 etc, everythings going to be hyped for all 3 consoles, but ultimately it will also be a severely slow month. Also batman sold well on the 360, you seem to be forgetting this is NPD.

$299 price drop won't be a game over, this is NA. First off, Xbox would probably also drop, even then, PS4's biggest holiday games confirmed so far are also On XBox One,w hile Xbox one has big holiday games not on PS4 on top of that.
