Yes, unless everything has converted to motion controls and 3D. :(

i don't think I will, sure gaming is my life, but the been there done feeling appears way too often for my taste this gen, If it continues that way i'll simply lose all interest in gaming
Why don't we just go back to 8bit as well? Seriously, you have a problem with technological advances enhancing the enjoyment of gaming?Yes, unless everything has converted to motion controls and 3D. :(

This, I hate TV, Music is crap now... Only shows i like is LOST. Movies are just boring so im stuck with videoo games. Glad someone else agrees with me. What I've been doing is watching some of the older TV shows and films. I missed out on many things it seems. I'd agree that most the stuff that comes out nowadays isn't that great....or maybe it's just that the present pales in comparison to the large and golden archives of the past.[QUOTE="Fightingfan"][QUOTE="mitu123"]
Lets see, in terms of entertainment:
Movies don't look that great besides a few here and there, TV sucks and music sucks even more while gaming gets better in different ways, so yes, I will continue to game and create my own indie games too, which is hard depending on the game.

Trust me, if you look hard enough you can find some fantastic music, just don't look at the major labels, they only care about money. You need to look at the independent labels like Road Runner Records and Nuclear Blast Records. Those are my two favorite labels as they favor music over money.
Yes because a day that pass by is a day closer for Microsoft dominating the gaming landscape. By that time or even earlier, Microsoft will be the only company standing and supporting the gaming industry with all its might. Sooner or later more people will find out the truth that Microsoft is the only one that has an established gaming mindset and always trying with all their incredible ability to keep gaming alive for always. Microsoft will be there years from now and because of that I will continue to game, they are gaming fun masters in my personal educated reality of opinions.reanimatedchampNo, just no.
I hope so. . . .I just love gaming at the moment.......
"I declare on Monday, April the 6th that I love games!"
I wonder if I browse through this in 10 years time, what i will be thinking...
Hope this topic isn't deleteted after 10 -15 years.

I love gaming too! But I hate school which I spend 5 times as much time doing ATM :(It also depends...... Some adults game based on their profession. I know several civilian and military pilots who have godboxes of a PC and play a lot of flight sims. Me? My profession is aviation weather-related. I spend a lot of time in Flight Simulator X and X-Plane 9 because of their ability to import real-world weather from almost any city on Earth and simulate them in the game. I can set different weather conditions along a flight route and visualize what pilots may see or encounter. As for my other games (racers, FPS, RTS, RPG, sports) they pale in comparison to the two flight sims in the frequency I play them.
For example, those flying from Binghamton, NY will be waking up to a somber rainy morning.......
And a real-world webcam image:
I'll be gaming till the day I can be a gamer no more for whatever reason. Whether it's because of old age or the end of the world, I'll be gaming until then.
Of course I will! Reading some of your answers makes me sad for some reason :(

Well, for some of us older gamers, we have wives who demand we stay at home after work or not go anywhere without them. It's the short leash thing. On the bright side, they rather see us game at home than get drunk at some bar.
Sure but 20 years ... I'll likely have developed arthritis in my hands from 50 + years of gaming.
Us old folks will need Natal ... :P
Hell yeah I will be. That's if video games dont change into something that I dont want it to. Even then I will still play though  so pretty much i'll be playing til I can't anymore.

So I have to look for less known music artists to find good music from what you said, I've done that and found some good music but it's a shame that the mainstream ones don't appeal to me as much.[QUOTE="mitu123"]Glad someone else agrees with me. I'm 40 and have free time after work(9-5) so I game a decent amount. Though I don't have any kids and never been married. I do date though and have been in a few serious relationships but I plan to continue to game. It sure is nice not having kids or a nagging wife to do so. LOL. Now I just got back into gaming a couple years ago after not doing itsince the sega genesis days so I might go into some dry spurts. LOL. Also, if everything goes digital download Ican see myself gaming a lot less.
If the gaming scene is somewhat the same that its now, yes.
If its insert credit card, pay to play. internet connection needed, then no.
Well I've been playing for 20 years already and I still have moments that make me feel like I did when I first started gaming, not as often as I used to mind you, although I do find that I'm getting much harder to please these days.
Hoepfully I'll still be able to have those moments in another 20 years...
No, I will not. I have got tired of buying games that I don't think are worth it. I MIGHT still play a few first party games, but everything else is a no no. Not purposely trying to be a **** here but it will be a relief when I can drag myself off gaming websites so I can get away from the crap journalism and immature fanboys who can't act their age.
