No because I don’t have a PS5 yet. If I did though this would probably be a game that I purchased at full initial retail price.

No, my backlog is too large. I'm still playing Hades and having a fantastic time. Still have Fallen Order and Valhalla as well. I used to buy games I wouldn't be playing for a while on day one, but it seems silly. Unless it's something that is an absolute favorite, I try to hold off for a bit now.

So, I do wish you had a "my backlog is too large to justify it" option.

Agreed. It looks like a $20 experience at most. Now a game like Dying Light 2 seems like a much more worthy $70 purchase to me.

Dying Light 2 looks more animated than an actual animated game because the graphics are so dated.

If the previous Ratchets and the first Dying Light are anything to base the upcoming sequels by then Ratchet will be pure quality from start to finish while DL2 will be full of tedious filler with no substance.

Sounds like a lot on here would be getting this game 1 if they had a PS5. Guess that $70 is only bothering Lems. I'm definitely getting this game, but not day 1... even if I had a PS5 I'd probably wait a few months for the first price drop. I'm cheap like that though 🤷‍♂️

Hell yes, I'm on a 3 week summer vacation from work when it releases, so I actually happen to have time to play it, I'm not waiting.

I've never been a big fan of the franchise so I'll probably take a pass. This is another example of not paying $70 for a game because I simply don't want it rather than being outraged by the price. I have no idea what will be the first regular price $70 game I buy... chances are that if I'm willing to spend that and want the game that bad I'll wind up buying the ultimate version or one with all DLC etc.
