Why?... Last gen ran at mostly 30FPS for 7 years.

Considering how great it looks, I honestly worry about FPS on my 780 - I like to play in 3D and that halves FPS.

Looking at the system requirements for Assassins Creed Unity i think hermits gotta do some massive upgrades to even play at console settings...Witcher3 will be more demanding than AC:unity

Yet you don't need very new hardware to beat consoles at their lowly fps/res with those games.

Oblivion was Sub HD and ran below 30fps... It's setting were about medium with a few on high. Expecting anything more than 30fps on a true next gen game on consoles is delusional. It's always been this way. Racing games typically go for 60 unless they are arcadey, Slow Shooters also usually went for 30 and really only call of duty went for 60 in the past.

You say they can't handle it... yes they can. What CD project is aiming for is high quality on the graphical assets and will balance FPS and Frame Rate. If you though they were gonna try to push 60 then you need to get off whatever your on. Even most PC's won't playing this a 60 fps right away. Back when the Witcher 2 came out I was playing at 30-40 fps on my Radeon 5870 at at 1920 x 1200 (essentially 1080p) with dips down into the 20's at times. I had to dip down to 1600 x 900 just to get around 45-50 fps. This was at a Mix of High and Ultra with Uber turned off. I would rather sacrifice the resolution than the overall level of graphics. 1600 x 900 still looked pretty good I only chose it to stop the dips into the 20's. When it stayed at 30 it was fine

RPG's don't need 60 and play just fine at 30
