Honestly, how is this screenshot in any way impressive? It's blurry as hell and the aliasing is awful on the centred chains. The metal frames of the Zeppelin are clearly poor quality textures too, despite the attempt to hide them behind blur and film grain filters. Is there some kind of correlation between console owners and poor eyesight?

The only explanation I have is that Giovela is fakeboying to make console gamers look bad, he posted that screenshot and said it's the best looking game ever.

The Witcher3 shots posted in this thread alone look better, and its a huge sprawling open world. So pathetic. Hell even AC:Unity ultra or Crysis3+Mods tops it. Ryse PC of-course also a no brainer.

The recent screenshots look incredible. The downgrade talk is a bunch of nonsense. If you compare the recent gameplay footage to older gameplay footage (not cutscenes) there is no difference in the overall quality. There's no better looking open world game out there.

Where's the downgrade?

Just the developer over-stating the game pre-release. There's no mystery here.

It looks great. I don't see what the problem is. No doubt that it will have higher graphical options or even mods for people with rigs that can handle it.

My biggest hope at this point is that the game supports 21:9 aspect ratio. That would be the best news ever.

I don't understand why anyone, be it to hype the graphics or put them down, uses shot from the internet before games are released. People can find shots that flat out look better than what you are showing. This type of non sense is my least favorite here.

There's a lot of truth to what you are saying, but I didn't share that screenshot to prove anything, I was simply showing a nice screenshot that shows how beautiful the game is.

We would need to compare the same spots in the game with the same lighting and atmospheric conditions in order for a comparison to really tell us anything of use.

To my eyes the older gameplay screenshots/videos look very similar to the newer gameplay screenshots/videos.

You had no issue when the OP did it, there was nothing wrong with those two Witcher 3 pictures. In fact they look better than The Order post-release direct feed I posted.

Talk about nit-picking just to say PS4 has better graphics. (Only PC actually DOES have better gfx, so I'm not sure what your point was with that second line....)

The PC version of The Witcher 2 alone looks better than 99% of the games on the PS4. I own all the best looking games available on PS4 and The Order 1886 does indeed look quite good but it doesn't beat the best games on PC.
