Well, i cant say i did not like GOW art and visuals, the gameplay was a joke for me though and LBP is terrible really, worst platformer i have played with (and i have actually bought the first one), i did not even bother trying LBP2

Gears is a good romp but tbh from a gameplay standpoint and the general pacing i still think UC2 was a ton more cause i found it a tad more relatable than space hulk vs aliens.

No I want new consoles. I got rid of both of the HD consoles in favor of the PC but I do feel some regret in trading in the PS3, most likely I will just end up buying another slim and keep playing the exclusives till the next batch of consoles come out.

Tales of Vesperia is freaking amazing, definitely one of my favorite games this gen and the Tales series has my favorite combat system out of all other JRPGs so I'll give you that. Blue Dragon isn't too much to brag about though, the story was lame, the characters were forgettable and the combat felt very easy except towards the end. Witcher 2 isn't a JRPG so... don't know what to tell you there. Never played LO, looked promising but eh, no one plays every good game and considering the amount of amazingly good games this gen, 1 RPG is nothing to care about.

I will say if you're a true JRPG fan then you would head to handhelds, not consoles.

Not really, it would be "safe" to go with the PS3 version because it was actually a better version, not just a bow. There are plenty of strengths for the Xbox 360, you don't have to dig so hard to find justifications lol.

What is with all these PS3 hate Skyrim threads on here? Okay let me run this down for the HUNDREDTH time. The lag issue didn't affect everyone like some people think, it varied from person to peson. I had no performance issues whatsoever with the game and I had a massive 11MB save file with 90 hours in, now I had two friends on my PSN friend list who had lag issues with Skyrim, I have about 8 people who play Skyrim on my friend list and out of those 8 only 2 had lag. However since the last update their lag issues went away and the game plays fine for them again, the lag is practically gone now.

Your story seems like BS to me, I mean do you really expect us to believe that your friend traded in his system for a mutliplat game? That is ALOT of money and games wasted just for that, and why couldn't he just wait for the patch? That would have made far more sense I think. And the game was buggy across ALL platforms, so don't pretend that your version was perfect, mabey you didn't have issues but there were bugs in every version of the game. But thankfully Bethesda has fixed most of them so far in their updates, and that goes for the lag issue aswell.

Most of the games you listed are multiplat, and your overexaggerating the whole "better multiplat" thing. I know is SW people think there is a vast difference, but in real life they look and play identiticle, hell most of the time you can't even notice any difference unless you nitpick. I believe the PS3 actually has 512MB RAM, but its split between graphics and the system. 256 is reserved for graphics only, 256 for the system. This can cause problems, especially with Skyrims save structure. The 360 in comparison only reserves 32mb for the system, leaving the remaining 480mb free for developers to use in any way they want to.DeX2010

Right it does, but they should've did it in the 512 chunk like 360 has, instead of splitting it into the two 256 chunks. That way dev's have 512 to allocate any way they want, instead of having to worry about just 256 for graphics and 256 for everything else.Slimmin360

And I noticed more people getting on Killzone 3 every night, so obviously it's doing pretty well. Alot of PS3 exclusives make it into Greatest Hits, in order to do that the game has to get high scores generally and sell well. It works the same way with Xbox Platinum Hits.

The only point a game needs to reach to be put in the greatest hits cases are that they sell 1 million copies. Other than that its up to Sony what goes in.

EDIT: Its actually quite funny, because over here in the uk they are the other way around. Sony = Platinum games 360 = greatest hits.
