World in Conflict 9.5

picked up the collectors edtion. Best game I've played all year and should definately be considered GOTY without a doubt. The multiplayer is absolutely fantastic. Not too sure if I would ever want to play this on 360 though. The camera control works so nice with a m/k, plus mapping custom groups is key to playing the game. There's just no way they will be able to translate the same game with the same graphics and AI. Also, the in game cinematics are some of the finest I've ever seen.

This game is a good enough reason to upgrade your rig, hands down....

The 360 version won't be inferior. LOTR:TBFM was excellent on the 360, so I'm sure WiC will do just fine.

Different Company, we're still not sure how well they'll do, and if the x360 can really handle it, It won't be able to support dx10 stuff so that automatically makes it inferior right there.

Wow, a AAA title from virtually out of nowhere. Christmas is coming early to the PC this year.myke2010

PC was already the first system this year with a AAA title and it'll have the most AAA titles by the end... again. Like every other year.

I couldn't care less for the business aspect of it. I don't even like C&C. I play Supreme Commander and I think the 360 would explode with 8 players at the some time on that game. Gas powered games doesn't seem to be having trouble making money.

I have a PC, so I can play this one (and you're damn right I will, with a review like that), but consoles get the RTS shaft in general.

You can't actually criticize people for not having enough money to but a gaming PC, every system has a game(s) that are ESSENTIAL for being a gamer. But does everyone have enough money to buy every system? Hell no.

LOOK it may not be multiplat. I might be worried about the 360 version.

the 360 version and the PC version have two different developers, Massive Entand Swordfish Studios swordfish has made a couple of rugby games and a game called cold winter that got a 7.5. Massive has a couple of AA RTSs and an AA combat sim. could we have anotherG.R.A.W. on our hands? will this be considered multiplat or not if they are very different like GRAW

I'm pretty sure its not the same game. Its two different devs. like what happened with GRAW for the 360 and GRAW for everythign else.
